Hi, I've been using for a decade or so, but this new site is horrible, and I won't use it again. Currently, I'm in search for some decent alternative to Do you know some?

I was disappointed in the previous revision of the site; now I'm simply appalled at how unfriendly and useless it's become. Thanks for the suggestion - it can't be any worse than this.

It depends on what you use this site for. Discogs is spotty on reviews and a lot of them were written by fanboys. They're not the place if you're looking for the best album from someone new to you. If discovering new music is why you came here, I think you'll be back here again.

On the other hand, the database of recordings is adequate in many areas and superior to AMG in others. It doesn't cover as many albums, but often does a better job with the ones they do have. My main complaint with them in that area is that everything seems dated by the last release date instead of the recording date.

Give me a clue what you're looking for, and I may be able to help.
