For the last few days, since the update, my app crashes as soon as you touch an episode. Is this a known issue.

I am guessing this is not a common issue or more people would be complaining. I forgot to mention that every time I log on it says, "Syncing for the first time." There are no problems searching for shows, just when you select an episode. Then it freezes and closes the app.

I have been having a similar problem for about 2 weeks. I can't get past the screen that says "syncing for the first time"

Maybe you guys could just let me know if there are any suggestions for trying to fix this. I will try to delete and reinstall the app. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay! Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing the app?

Well, I have tried re-installing the app and it still has the same issues. If someone has an idea, I will gladly try it, but for now I just have to adjust to using the computer instead of the iPad. The format on the iPad is so nice, it's hard to give up.

Hi Kevin! You shouldn't have to give it up, so hopefully we'll be able to reproduce this issue! Could you let me know if you're logging in with Facebook or with a username/email+password?

I'm signed into sidereel as un: funfishin. I don't sign in with Facebook.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the information.  Generally speaking, this problem doesn't seem widespread, so we are going to try and see if perhaps a show you are tracking is causing a problem.  In addition, we have a few more questions for you. You said the app crashed when you tap an episode...

* Does this happen for any episode of any show? Or just some shows?
* Does this happen from a specific screen? Some examples are:
   - the tracker
   - the show screen
   - the calendar (you can tap the S#E# to get an episode)

Anything you can do to help us pinpoint the issue will help us potentially solve it.  If you could describe the exact steps you take that cause the problem, we can see if we can replicate it here.

We really appreciate your patience and understand that this must be frustrating!

Oh wow, you are tracking 530 shows!  This might be contributing to whatever the issue is.  It may not solve the problem, but as a workaround, you could consider untracking some shows that you no longer watch or have finished watching.  We have recently added show ratings and show lists, so you could move some of these shows to lists or rate them rather than continue to track them.  I realize this may not be ideal for you, but it could help!

Hi. We are tracking shows for the whole family. I have not had time to really explore the other options you mentioned, so I will do this in the next few days. When I get our tracking numbers down, I will write back. I know a lot of the shows being tracked are not even being watched, they are just shows that we may want to watch someday. Thanks.

Also, to answer the question, no matter how i get to a show, it freezes once I touch an episode. I have gone in through the tracker, through new shows, and through the calendar.

Just to let you know, I could not ever get the iPad to work, so we just started using our phones. Then, after the last update a week or two ago, it started working perfectly again. We never figured out the problem, but it is now solved. Thanks for all your hard wok.

Hi Kevin! We appreciate your update; we recently released a new version of the app, so that could've fixed things!
