Most of your links for megavideo show results are being overtaken by people who want to advertise their own website - it's really annoying! I'm not sure if you can filter these out in some way....

We're working on better spam tools to prevent and remove these kinds of spam links, but you can also report them when you see them so our spam team can remove them right away. Click 'report link' next to the link on the search results page, or if there are a number of them, you can report the show and episode to Thanks for your help!

Kendra, I have given up reporting the links as they don't get taken down.

Every single new episode on popular shows without fail is now covered in these adverts for several hours before the show even airs and it makes it very difficult to spot the genuine links when they do eventually start appearing.

I have spent the last week or so reporting them via the the 'report link' and 'mark link as broken' and literally, not one has disapeared.

Are you sure that those links are actually working and sending reports to the appropriate people who do have the power to remove them? Are the people who are supposed to be checking them doing so properly?

We are sorry for your frustration. As you've noticed, we face a spike in spam with season premieres and for popular shows. What we've done is to lock links to new episodes until after they air. In the mean time, our spamfighters work at trying to delete the bad links from the show page.

Please keep reporting bad links to us; we assure you that we are checking them and removing them slowly but surely. Thank you for being patient!

I still see spam inks posted before the show airs on television.

how about developing a faster response to user feedback about spam links? Perhaps develop a spam button?

"Slow but surely" doesn't really work with the internet, especially when new episodes are released every week. If your site loses functionality, people will stop using it and move on to other sites.

Hi Saurabh,
Thanks for your suggestions and sorry for your frustration. As Kendra has described in this thread, you can report individual links via our "spam button" with the "report link" option next to each link, or report mass spam links by reporting them directly to
