Grammatically incorrect

The sentence "Pearl Jam has never sounded as hard or direct as they do here" contains the third person single verb "has" and then refers to the band in the first person plural with "they". 'They has' is indeed very poor English.
I know Americans like to think their bands are singular subjects. If that's the case then they should be consistent with the grammar.
Pedantic, I know.

Hi Philip,
I asked one of our copy editors for insight on this and was informed that some strange things happened to our text when we moved to a new editorial application, like prepositions becoming uppercase, nouns becoming lowercase, and in your case some verbs after band names changing forms. AllMusic recognizes that almost all bands comprise two or more musicians and we're doing what we can to correct the situation.

Thank you for using AllMusic!

Chrysta-
I saw that the drop-in window on a photograph said "click to embiggen." The proper word is "enlarge." The word 'embiggen' was created on "The Simpsons" to sound a little stupid, and your use of it makes the site look ignorant and damages your credibility.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the feedback. We're aware "enlarge" is the correct word but just having a bit of fun. Sorry if you dislike that, and if that's the case I advise you to steer clear of our 404 page.
