Pleaae help me.I have tried joining so many times.I am. Begging for help here.I have never ever been on internet and never. Had a computer.I can't join due to e mail complications.please please help me.I cannot copy and paste.I thought my addy was .net and that caused problems.now I have addy right but link won't work.I even accidently drleted my confirmation e mail as if that matters since I can't use the link.I am not a total moron.just technicly challenged due to running away and dropping out at 16.please help me join.

Hi there, we're happy to help, no worries! I'm not sure if you need further things worked out than this with your SideReel account, but if you just need a new confirmation email, you can just visit SideReel, log in with the username and password you created, then you should still see the bar asking you to click to confirm your email address. Just click that again and it will send you a new confirmation email.

Let me know if you still have trouble, and if so, what you need help with.

i too have just signed up at slidereel and have not received a conformation email i even asked for them to send me another several times and still nothing i checked inbox and junk e mail

Hi Savannah, did you try lowering your email security settings and/or adding info@sidereel.com to your email contacts? If not, try that out then click to send a new confirmation email and see if you have any better luck.

If you still have trouble, let me know what email server you're using plus what internet browser and version you're using. Thanks!

i did what u suggested and still nothing i even checked email address with sidereel and it is correct

What email server do you use, Savannah? It seems users have been having trouble with receiving emails to Hotmail addresses recently which we're looking into.

knology is who email is through i use outlook to send read emails its a cable company

Hi Savannah, I don't have any experience with the knology email server unfortunately. Do you have another email address you could use that may have lower security settings if lowering the settings on your current account isn't doing the trick?

If you do have another email address, you can change it on your account by clicking 'update details' from your profile and adding your new email address. You can then click to confirm your email address again which will send the email to the updated email address.

i cant get confirmation email i also added info@sidereel to address book checked my security settings i have knology.net for email its a cable company using firefox 3.5 browser and outlook 2007 to read and reply to email i have checked junk mail and in box folders and come up empty i have logged in to my sidereel acct and checked email address it is correct i have also requested another confirmation email and still come up short please help

i signed up for hotmail and i got the confirmation email sure wish it worked with knology tho

Hi Savannah, the system should work with any email host as long as you're able to add info@sidereel.com to the contacts and/or lower the security settings, but if you did try both of those and it didn't work, then it does seem for some reason that's not going to work. We're looking into other issues with users receiving these emails, so I'll make a note of the knology issues as well.
