Help! I'm Locked out of my SideReel Account!

I've reset my password, and i still can't log in (username or email). I've cleared all my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still not working.

I don't want to start a new account because i have all my shows tracked and "watched".

Ive had this account for over a year I think..and now all of a sudden its asking me to confirm my account via the confirmation email like its a new account..why? Ive been logging in with no problem..so I try to do the confirmation and I never get the confirmation email...

Hi E! Make sure you add info@sidereel.com, then send again, & check your spam folder!

I attempted to log in, it said that I had to verify my account ...it sent the email. I clicked on the confirm link in email. It then says that this link is bad, I may have already confirmed my account ...it still does not let me log in.

Hi alliekatt! According to our system, the username 'Jaggersfan' is actually associated with the email 'mitreasurebox@ymail.com'. Make sure that's the email you're sending it to and confirming!
The email that says it's already confirmed is likely linked to a separate Facebook Connect account.

ive been using sidereel for a long time. i need to watch my shows, since i cant watch them on tv, cause i dont live in the u.s. anymore.

i tried to send the confermation email like it said and also saved sidereel as my contacts, and checked my spam. nothing. i changed my email since then. now its abwe88@yahoo.com
please help!!!- i ont want to open a new account. all my stuff is in my normal account

Hi Aviva! It's possible that your Yahoo account is blocking incoming mail from SideReel. If you have another email account that is *not* Yahoo, I can change it for you in the system and see if you have more luck accessing your account!

Hi Homeuser,
It's possible that your email server is blocking incoming emails from SideReel. If you have another non-AOL email you use, I can try switching your account to that email to see if you have better luck. Let me know!

I keep re-verifying my Email, and when i click the link to do so, sidereel claims its no longer a valid confirmation link, and says i may already be verified and to try and sign in. Naturally, i follow said instructions, but to no avail. My account is still in a perpetual state of email verification. No matter how many times i resend the verification and follow the instructions to confirm I still end up with the same results. im on the verge of just making a new account, or just not even using one at all. I hope this gets resolved soon :(

Hi Wm, are you sure the email you're inputting is the correct one associated with the account you're trying to confirm? According to our system, the username Maxxis202 is associated with the email 'maxxis202@aol.com' - so make sure that's the one you're confirming.

Hi kingdash! It's possible that your email server is blocking incoming automated emails from SideReel. If you have another non-AOL email, I can try changing it in the system for you!

Seems to be an issue with AOL/AIM Accounts......Did they fix it yet?

I have been trying to log in and to no avail. The message I get in incorrect email/password. This can not be true, as I have it saved in google chrome and it normally logs me straight in. It will not allow me to reset my password because the email I am using is not on file I suppose. I had a hard time even signing in to leave this here. My account name is tlivingston82, and my email on file should be tlivingston2282@gmail.com. Your speedy response is appreciated.

when i try to login it says conforn account, i clicked the link to confirn and ikt says invalid link, account has already been confirmd please try to login. But i still can't login

Hi arc, if you have multiple accounts, it's possible that you've confirmed the email for the wrong account. If you tell me the username of the account you're trying to access, I can tell you which email is associated with it so you can make sure you're confirming the correct one!

When I try to log in, SideReel tells me I need to reconfirm my email. I've tried sending this reconfirmation email to multiple email addresses but sometimes it doesn't show up, even in my spam. It was successfully sent to my gmail account so I tried to reconfirm but it still won't let me log in. I am now receiving the daily emails to my gmail account but I still can't log in to the site. I've tried my username and my email address to log in but it still tells me I haven't reconfirmed my email. How can I get SideReel to acknowledge that I've reconfirmed my email address and let me log in?

Hi! Sorry for the confusion, but your account can only be confirmed with the email you used to sign up with. If you're not sure which email you used to sign up, let me know what your username is and I can look it up for you.

Hi hazel! Please make sure you're confirming the correct email that's associated with that account. The email you provided is actually associated with a Facebook-Connected account, while the 'nutzed' username is registered with the email 'nutzed@hoymail.com.'

When i go to login it says i need to confirm my email. I type my email in (th3transition@gmail.com) and it says "Error sending confirmation: email not found", but i receive the email anyway. When i click here to confirm it takes me to sidereel but it says "the confirmation link is invalid your account may already be confirmed. please try to sign in", and the cycle repeats.

Hi! The problem is that your username is actually registered with the email th3fdd@aol.com. You have to confirm the email that you signed up with.

It says that email is already in use by a different account. You can't have more than one account with the same email address.

I have had my account for over a year but suddenly I am being told that my account has yet to be confirmed. When I resend the confirmation email and I access the email and click the link it brings be to a page that says that the confirmation link is invalid and my account may already be confirmed. And when I try to use the 'I forgot my password' link, it tells me that my email cannot be found.

I am having the same problems but it is suddenly like this (I was just logged in last week with no problems). I have tried everything you have listed and still cannot log in. I followed the link in the reconfirmation email (4 times!) and still it tells me that my username, password and email address are invalid. How can it be invalid if you just had enough information to resend me the email?!?
Please help. I refuse to start a new account so i will probably just stop using this site if i can't log in.

Hi Lindi! As described above, the site locks you out after a year if you haven't confirmed your email. It sounds like you might be sending the confirmation email to the wrong email - if you let me know what your username is, I can look it up in the system and see which email is associated with your account so you can confirm the correct one ASAP!

Since the recent update, I haven't been able to sign in as its saying that my account hasn't been confirmed yet. i'm really getting frustrated as i was using it up to the 2 days ago.
I don't want to start a new account because I have so many shows that have been tracked and watched.
I also don't want to have to go and search for a new site because, so far sidereel has been the best. So please help.

Hi toptails, it sounds like you might have two accounts without realizing it (a FB Connect profile and a regular login). Let me know the username of the account you're trying to access and I'll look up which email is associated with that account if you're not sure.

Hi,

When i go to login it says i need to confirm my email. I type my email in (murelleobeid@hotmail.com) and it says "Error sending confirmation: email not found", but i still receive the email . According to our system, there's no user registered with that email. You'll still receive the email because you sent yourself one by inputting it into the email field, but it won't succeed in confirming an account because it isn't registered with an account. You must confirm the email that's registered with the SideReel account that you're trying to access. If you're not sure what that is, I can look it up for you if you provide your username!

Hi again! Looks like the email associated with your account may have a typo in it - murelleobeid@hotmal.com. I've changed it to "murelleobeid@hotmail.com", so you should be able to successfully confirm it using that email address now!

I can't log into Sidereel. It is constantly saying that I need to "Confirm" my email, but every time I do, it sends me back to the same page in a never ending circle. It says my email isn't linked. I really don't want to have to create a new account. PLEASE HELP! Many thanks!!!

Hi sammi - the purpose of confirming your email account is to verify that the email address you signed up with indeed belongs to you. Therefore, you need to confirm the email that you signed up with!
