Help! I'm Locked out of my SideReel Account!

I've reset my password, and i still can't log in (username or email). I've cleared all my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still not working.

I don't want to start a new account because i have all my shows tracked and "watched".

I'm am trying to log in but when I enter my email/password it tells me that I need to confirm my email address. So I resend the confirmation email address and go to my email and click the link but that gives me an error that the link is invalid or the email may already have been confirmed and won't let me log in.

Hi there!
Is it possible that your email is actually being sent to a forwarding address? Make sure you're confirming directly from your ucsd.edu address (as opposed to a gmail or other address it gets forwarded to) - otherwise the system may not register the email as a match.

I've had my account for months now, and suddenly it's telling me the account hasn't been confirmed yet. So I clicked the link to send a confirmation email, and when I got it, I clicked the link to confirm the account. Then it told me the account had already been confirmed, but when I tried to log in again the whole process started all over again. I even tried resending the confirmation email but it just did the same thing. My username is musicat29 and my email is musicat29@gmail.com if that helps. Please help, I really don't want to lose my account!!

When you attempt to log in, and you get a prompt telling you that you need to confirm your account, make sure you're inputting the correct email into the field so that it sends to the right place.

I am having the same problem as everyone else, my account was fine now I can't get in. I get a message saying I need to confirm my email but the confirmation emails are not working for me. My user name is ccape please help!

If you let me know the name of the account you're trying to access, and a possible alternate email you'd like to try sending the confirmation to, please let me know and I'll be happy to fix it for you in the system!

I've been using Sidereel for over a year and never had a problem, but now tonight when I try to log in it is asking me to confirm my email, which I'm pretty sure I had done a long time ago. I clicked to have it sent to me, and nothing was sent at all. I checked my spam box and nothing was there. So I tried clicking a few more times to have it sent and nothing has been received yet on my end. It is my correct email that I provided. I want to continue using my account since I'm tracking shows, but I can't seem to login all of a sudden. How can this be fixed??

Hi Alexis! It sounds like your email server is blocking incoming emails from us. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that from our end, but we can change your email for you in the system to something else – let me know your username and an alternate email you'd like to change it to.

Hi, I seem to be following the chain off invalid site entry here. How does this work exactly? Do I just submit my username and wait for a response??? I've been a pretty avid user for quite some time now. I have a whole bunch load of shows that I am currently tracking just like everyone else does. hi, when im logging in, it says that i havent confirmed my account, what i think i did a while a go... but okay then i click the thing for you to send me the confirmation email, i received it and clicked the link and also tried it copying the URL in my browser, in any way and all the times i asked for a confirmation it said it was an invalid link, that i probably already confirmed my account, but then IT DOESNT LET ME LOG IN!!! what can i do to fix thiisss? or please fix itt!!!

my username is: pamelaramos1 and my email is pamelaramosgarcia@gmail.com i dont understand what's going on, because i only have one email. i know i have another account that i didnt created but it sometimes logs me in when im online facebook and i dont even know the pawsword or anything maybe thats the problem? you can delete that other account, the one i use is: pamelaramos1 please help as soon as posible, thanks!!

Hi Pamela! The username you mentioned is actually associated with the email 'pamelaramosgarcia@hotmail.com'. The gmail email account you mentioned is associated with your Facebook-Connected account. We just introduced a new feature that allows you to merge these two accounts into ONE, fully-connected account, and you can do so here: http://www.sidereel.com/users/merge_a...

Hey I just did it and it worked, the thing is that i deleted my facebook account, i just activated again to see if it worked doing it, and it did, i just merged the one: pamelaramos1 with the one with facebook, can i delete my facebook again and it will keep working? or what? please answer, thanks!

Hi Pamela - you deleted your actual Facebook account? The SideReel account should still function properly in the absence of your Facebook account, but keep in mind you won't be able to use any of the social features, or re-connect with a different Facebook account in the future.

I know, but it's just for a while. I just deactivated my facebook again, and it appears to be working after i merged them, thankss!! if i have any problem again i'll let you know! Thanks for the help i was freaking out hahaha!! :)

Hi Ezequiel,

I have deleted the account, and a new confirmation email has been sent to your Gmail address. Just confirm the email when you get it, and you should be able to log in.

ive tried to log into my sidreel account but it says i need to confirm my account, but im not receiving the confirmation email, ive added the email address to my contacts and checked my spam folder countless times and resent it about 6 times but still nothing....my user name is neenee000 and my email address is neenee000@live.co.uk

I've had a sidereel account for well over a year, yet when I tried to log in today, it said I had to confirm my email.
This was odd, but I thought I'd try anyhow, but when I entered my email to send the confirmation, it said my email was not found. However, an email arrived on my inbox with a confirmation link which I clicked. I entered my details again and got the same message!

I don't know what to do. All my tracked shows are on there and I don't have a memory big enough to remember all that information.

Hi there,

I'm not able to log in anymore.
When I type in my username and pw, it says that I didn't confirm my e-mail adress. So I click to confirm, get the e-mail an click the confirmation link. That sends me back to the page where I have to log in. When I do it starts all over again. When I wanna resend the mail and type in my mail adress it says that this adress is unknown to your system. But this can't be because I already got a lot of time your confirmation link mail. What can I do?

It looks like you have 2 accounts – one NastassjaRose and another Nastassja Rose that's affiliated with your Facebook.
If you're trying to confirm the NastassjaRose account, that one is registered with 'nasty3101@hotmal.de'.

the second account with my facebook account I did this becausr I can't log in with the NastassjaRose account... when I click to confirm the NastassjaRose account I receive the mail on nastassjarose@t-online.de and not on nasty3101@hotmail.de... how can this happen?

Hi Natassja.. this doesn't sound familiar. You don't click on a particular account to confirm it - you simply provide the email that's associated with your account, and a confirmation email will be sent there. If you input a different email other than the one associated with that account, an email will be sent, but that doesn't mean it will work to confirm the account you want.

I've had my username name and email for awhile but I do not have access to my email anymore because the school discontinues all student emails after two years of graduating and I didn't know this. My email was nk277531@wnec.edu, user name nk277531. Is it possible for me to switch to emails if I can't access my old one?

I have a sidereel account and up until this past week I have been able to use it without a problem, but now it says I never verified my account, although I'm positive I have. It claims that none of my email addresses were found, but it sends a link to my email, and when I click on it it bring me back to the same page claiming I haven't verified my account.

it should say sexysoftballgirl2@yahoo.com (an I between g&r), if it doesn't it there a way to change that? And when I click on the link from the email the web browser says already_confirmed at the end, but it still won't let me login.

If you haven't confirmed the email associated with the account you're trying to access, it isn't going to let you log in.
I've corrected your email in the system; give it another try and it should let you back in!

Hi there, I've just come back from a 3 week holiday and tried to log on to sidereel using my Twitter account (as I always have done). I am a regular user and this has always presented no problem. However, it is now not allowing me to sign on and every time I click the Twitter button the page is simply refreshed.
Please could you help me solve this issue: I have already tried restarting the browser and using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, all with no results.

Hi, sorry to be so problematic but I don't appear to have received the confirmation email. I have never had a problem with my aol account so it is possible that the email has got lost in cyber space somewhere. If possible, could you perhaps attempt to send the confimation to my other email account: katieleonida@hotmail.com? This account is usually less reliable than aol but I suppose it's worth a shot?

I can't log into my account. My account needs to be confirmed, but when I put in my email address, it says "email not found." I have tried all 3 of my email addresses and none worked. There is no way I could have made this account with any other email address. How can this problem be resolved?

Hi Nastassja,
The email associated with that account actually has a typo in it (it says nasty3101@hotmal.de instead of 'hotmail'). Since your hotmail address is already taken by your Facebook-Connected account, you'll have to use a different email address for this account. Let me know which email address you'd like to use and I'll be happy to change it for you in the system.

I still remember my password but my email was recently deleted, however i have recovered my email but now when i try to log in it says that i havn't confirmed my email so i sent the confirmation instructions and i've added info@sidereel.com as an account and i've also checked my spam folder but im still not recieving any emails.

I've been gone over the summer and haven't logged in. Now it says I need to confirm it. I hit the button, get the email, click on the link, but it just pulls up the login page. When I try to log in, it says I need to confirm it. It's a vicious cycle, and I don't want a new account because of the large number of shows I have "tracked" and "watched."
