Help! I'm Locked out of my SideReel Account!

I've reset my password, and i still can't log in (username or email). I've cleared all my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still not working.

I don't want to start a new account because i have all my shows tracked and "watched".

Well, i usually log in using my e-mail address :P which is robbertvermeulen1@hotmail.com, thus i find it strange that i can't receive an e-mail on that account.. The username to my account however should be 'Nvidia'

Hotmail seems to have recently blocked incoming emails from SideReel, which is why you're having trouble receiving emails on that account.
If you have an alternate email you'd like to try, I'll be happy to update it for you in the system!

I'm receiving the confirmation email but when I click on the link included in the email it brings me to a page that shows an error briefly which reads, "Confirmation link is invalid. Your account may already be confirmed. Please try to sign in."

So I am caught in an infinite loop — I can't login because my email needs to be confirmed. I can't confirm my email because it's already confirmed.

Please help?

Hi Samuel, it sounds like you're not confirming the correct email. The email associated with username 'samuelmikel' is 'samuel+sidereel@bowles.es'.

I can't log in either. It keeps asking me to confirm the account. I give the email address for confirmation, but whenever I click the link for confirmation, it tells me the link is invalid.

I receive email confirmations, however they do not seem to work after I click the link. This is possibly because I am using hotmail. My original email is lostbutterfly56@hotmail.com

hi my account isn't working.

I am not able to login because my email address was not confirmed. I try clicking the link to get an email confirmation sent but no email ever shows up. Nothing in spam either. My email address is dianakatherinee@gmail.com. Can someone please help??

Hey Alex tried everything sending confimation email... trying to login through the link send in the email but it just goes in a loop... tried from the different browser but am stuck feels like a bug... anyways its gonna be a pain trying to start with a new sign up... my email id is truepulse@gmail.com and username is truepulse kindly plz upgrade and confirm. thnks for the help in advance.

What username are you trying to confirm? The email you provided is associated with a Facebook-Connected account, and it should work!

The username is allyhocci,. I saw that one with Facebook too later on (Don't know how it happened). But it's strange as all my tracked show disappeared. It gets more strange as I can still log in on my mobile and see all my tracked shows.

Hi Baris - your shows haven't disappeared, you just accidentally created an entirely new account with that Facebook Connect login. Your mobile tracker is probably still logged in to the proper account.
According to our system, the username 'allyhocci' is associated with the email 'allyhocci@gmail.com' which has never been confirmed.

I didn't confirm my email address in the last year, because sidereel wouldn't let me. It was claiming my e-mail address doesn't exist. Obviously I know this not to be the case. Now it isn't letting me log in at all without confirming my e-mail! What a joke, if the email confirmation doesn't work it shouldn't then be obligatory.

It's not the variations that are the problem- that was something I was doing out of exasperation. It simply wasn't ever sending a confirmation e-mail. I finally got one (only took a year), a few hours ago, I clicked the link, it said I was already confirmed. I tried to log in and it said I wasn't confirmed.

Hi Jennie, it still says that your 'jenniestokes17@aol.com' account has not yet been confirmed. If you are not confirming directly from this exact AOL account, it's not going to work.

Hi Sophie--

The email associated with this account is soirth@hotmail.com.

In order to confirm your account, you'll need confirm it from *that* email address. You can't enter a different one and try and confirm that one.

If you no longer have access to that Hotmail account, I can change your email address to a new one, and send out another email.

'sophiemil' under this email address: sophiethrane@hotmail.com - which HAS been confirmed

and

'soirth' under this email address: soirth@hotmail.com - which has NOT been confirmed

Hi,

I am having the same issue as many people above.
Tried to login, but it says I need to confirm account.
Clicked button to send confirmation email to my email account, it says it could not find my email account, but I received an email anyway with a url to confirm.
The url redirects to something with a "notice=already_confirmed" in it and then asks me to login. Rinse, repeat.

I'm having the same problems as everyone else it seems. Mine went down a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to log in since - nor have I gotten any of the verification emails. Hi James--

Looks like you never confirmed your email. For a year after signing up, you can still login in, but once that year passes, you need to confirm your email.

I've sent another confirmation to the above address. If you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. After you get it, just follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

Hey,

I know I need to confirm my account but when it asks for an email to resend the conformation email to none of the emails that I have are valid.

As far as I remember I started with a hotmail email and am pretty sure I changed it to a gmail one, but neither are working.
