Help! I'm Locked out of my SideReel Account!

I've reset my password, and i still can't log in (username or email). I've cleared all my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still not working.

I don't want to start a new account because i have all my shows tracked and "watched".

Hi there!

The email associated with the account is kelseysideris@gmail.com. Try resending the confirmation email again. If it doesn't work, let me know, and I'll see what I can do.

Hey,
My account suddenly won't log in, I tried sending a confirmation email, but it doesn't go through, and it's not in my spam section either. I've had my sidereel account for at least a few months, and I've never had a problem before now. My email address is nitewing16@aol.com, I'd really appreciate any help you could give.

If you're having trouble logging in, it's because you did not confirm your email within a year of creating your account with SideReel.

Looks like you created your account in September of 2011, so the year has run out. I resent an email to address you signed up with (same as the one you mention above). If you don't receive it, make sure you look in your spam folder, as it may in there. Then just follow the instructions for confirming.

hi,
same problem as many of the others. i can't log in due to having to confirm my email which i've sent twice now. both times i confirmed and i still can't log in.
can you please help. i was logged in just an hour ago.
my username is krystalelise and my email is maybe-thats-all@hotmail.com

This is the error message I get every time I try to log in:
Oops! We are currently unable to log you in because your account has not yet been confirmed. Not to worry!

Click here to confirm your SideReel account. Then follow the instructions that arrive in your email inbox to verify your account. You will then be able to login.
[When I input my e-mail address: janice_virginia@yahoo.com , I get this error message:
Error sending confirmation:
Email not found
However I get a confirmation e-mail in my inbox. I click on the link and a message slides down saying 'Confirmation link is invalid. Your account may already be confirmed. Please try to sign in']

And the whole cycle repeats again.

Hi JVirginia!

When you first sign up, you have a year to confirm your email. You signed up in November of 2011, but never actually confirmed your email, and that's why you're getting login errors.

The email your signed up with is krystal.j.king@live.com.au. In order to confirm your account, you need to confirm your email from that email address.

If you no longer have access to that email address, I can change it and have another email sent to you. Let me know if that's what you want to do!

I checked again. The email you signed up with is actually janicet@yahoo.com. I've changed it to janice_virginia@yahoo.com and a new confirmation email should on its way to you.

It says it cannot log me in because I have not confirmed my email but my email got hacked and I recently had to switch it to a new email but my sidereel still logs in with my old email. If I try to confirm it will send it to my old email that doesn't exist anymore and I do not want to lose all my tracked shows and watched episodes.

Hi Hayleigh,

It looks like you have a Facebook-connected account associated with the email address: hchipson@hotmail.co.uk.

If you'd like to merge this account with the account under the email address babycakes1st@hotmail.co.uk, you can do that by following this link: http://www.sidereel.com/users/merge_a...

Just be sure you choose the Facebook account as the one you want as your primary account!

I'm having this issue too, can't log in to my account as it says I need to confirm it but when I do it says I already have! My username is bookaholic86 and my email is sarahm_87@hotmail.com. Can you please help me out? I didn't have any issues logging in yesterday but today... it's like my account is defective!

Hi Sarah-

Actually, it looks like you have two accounts. One is for the username: 'Bookaholic_86,' and it is associated with the email sarahm_87@hotmail.com.

The other account is under the username 'bookaholic86,' and is associated with a malformed email, sarahm_87@hotamail.com.

If you have been consistently using the 'bookaholic86 account,' I can delete the other one, and reassign the correct email address to it, which will allow you to reconfirm the email, and then log in. But I need to make sure that's the account you want to keep.

Hi , I have a strange problem! I can't log in any more and it wants me to send a confirmation email. I f I click on send I don't recieve one, if I put in my email again and press resend confirmation, the error "email not found" pops up and I recieve a confirmation email. But using the provided link I still can't log in and I get to the "please send a confirmation" site again. My username is s.ebner and my email is s.ebner@gmx.net
hope u can help me, got so many shows tracked I wouuld not like to loose...

Looks like when you signed up, you accidentally entered your email address wrong (gm.net instead of gmx.net). I have corrected the address and a new confirmation email should be on its way to you!
