Help! I'm Locked out of my SideReel Account!

I've reset my password, and i still can't log in (username or email). I've cleared all my cookies and restarted my browser and it's still not working.

I don't want to start a new account because i have all my shows tracked and "watched".

The only way I get to log in is with my facebook account, but that is not the one I have been using everyday for the past year or so, so it doesnt have any of my shows

I'm using Safari. I don't get it either I haven't been able to sign in all weekend!! I thought it was just me, but looks like i'm not alone. When is this gonna get fixed?

If you're having trouble logging in, it's because you did not confirm your email within a year of creating your account with SideReel. Our tech team is currently working on a fix so that you will be presented with the option of resending the confirmation email upon providing your correct login credentials. We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime & appreciate your patience!

When I try logging in I am unable to do so. I am presented the message about confirming my account and click the confirm button. I have been clicking a couple of days now but I haven't received any confirmation email yet. When you say the engineers are working on an option to resend the confirmation email are you referring what I described above? If so as I just stated the confirmation email is not being sent (the spam folder has been checked, actually nothing gets sent to the spam folder)

I'm having problems signing in to my account. I've had it for about 3 years and haven't had any difficulties before. When I log in it says that my password is invalid. I tried changing my password a few times and each time it still says the new password is invalid. I've also tried clearing cookies, but this doesn't seem to work either

I am in the same boat. I have had my account for 4 years. I confirmed it in the first year and have had no problems since. Now when I log in it says that my password is invalid. I tried changing my password a few times and each time it still says the new password is invalid. I've also tried clearing cookies, but this doesn't seem to work either.

Thanks Alex, was there a need to reconfirm after one of the updates. I had at one point confirmed my email address when I first signed up. I love sidereel and love what you guys have done with it. Just trying to figure out where I went wrong.

I tried to get into my Sidereel account, but it said that the password wasn't working. I tried it a couple of times, then tried the "reset password." Didn't work! When I searched the questions, I saw that the response was to clear cookies and try again. Did that and still can't get in!!! And now, none of the regular places I go are in my browser history - so I've lost many things, not just my Sidereel account.

Please help!! I really love the new and improved Sidereel, especially the Tracker, and I don't want to set it all back up again!!

i cant log in to my account and i tried changing the password multiple times and the new passwords don't log me in either, the message that comes up reads "Sorry, your information is incorrect." i made a temporary account witch is the one im using now but i want my old one back, its listed under the email address Shayne.c.arruda@hotmail.com
also it says the email address i gave above is not listed with your website but im still reciving emails...

Just checked my email and I did indeed get an email on the 11th september 2010 asking me to confirm my email address (in fact I got sent 3 of them on that date) none of which worked at the time and prompted me to contact you guys then about login issues.
guess this is an issue relating to the site change that took place last year.
Would be kinda useful if the reset password worked though.
I know you guys will resolve this so, "thank you", in advance.

Since it's an issue with your email not being confirmed - not an issue with your password - unfortunately resetting your password won't do the trick. Our engineers are indeed working on it, though, so we appreciate your patience! :)

I didn't get a confirming email..it's been the same for 3 or 4 years I've been on this site. My account was deleted once before I will not load it again!

I have my login name and password on autofill, but when I tried to log on from another place it said it was incorrect... and it said, if you had forgot ur password to write your email, and it would resend the password, but I never got any emails, and when I got to my own computer where the login data is saved it was the one I typed in the first place and it said it was incorrect... so I tried to type in my email many times, for you send my password again(I was hoping that would work), and I still haven ́t received any email..

Hello, i don't know why but i can't login.. it says that the password/username is wrong but i'm sure i'm inserting everything right. And when i insert my e-mail (bluebuble52@hotmail.com) on the "forgot password" i won't recieve any e-mail with the new password..

i went to log into my account as i always do and it said my info was incorrect so i kept doing it and still didn't work so then i tried resetting my password and every time i did it said it was still wrong, so for the last couple of days i haven't been able to get into it and i need help! and then i tried making a new account but i cant because my email address is on the other one and it won't let me register the same email address. so please help...

Your password reset isn't working. I cannot remember my password and when i try to reset it to a new one the system keeps telling me that my details are incorrect when i try to log in with the new password.

A day or two ago I tried logging in and it kept saying 'incorrect information'. There is no way either my username/email or password were wrong. I gave up and decided to reset my password. Still didn't work. I reset my password a total of three times but to no avail.

What the heck?!!?

I put sidereel.com in my contacts and checked my junk mail, but still no email confirmation - maybe the fix didn't take?

Hi Lea! Make sure you put 'info@sidereel.com' in your contacts and send it again.
