For over 10 yrs I have used your website as a source to compile my vast music collection. However, your new website format is HORRIBLE compared to what it use to be like. Please return the original ALLMUSIC.COM! This is one BLOWS

Hi,

I'm sorry you feel that way. It's certainly a big change from the old format, but the vast majority of the content and data is intact. Is there a specific feature or functionality that you miss? Can we help you find what you need?

As you can see Dawn there is a hornets nest swirling around in this thread. I join the mass of people who are frustrated as i am. As I stated before, When a website makes changes (shun to use the word "improvement"), as a courtesy one is offered to "try" the new design, or return to "old format". As Sting sang on Dire Straits "Money for Nothing"......"I WANT MY ALLMUSIC.COM"

I understand that there are many people here who dislike the new format. But when people express their frustration without offering concrete steps we can consider taking to improve the situation, there isn't much we can do along those lines. All we can do is say "I hear you" and acknowledge the frustration.

The most productive comments are the ones that give us something to help with.

There are many people who also say that we should run the old format alongside the new, or change back to the old format and abandon the new. At this point, that is not possible. The old format was running with ever more outdated technology and it was getting harder and harder to pile fixes on top of each other to hold it together. I understand that people knew where everything was on the old site, and that they find it frustrating when they must look for old favorites in new places, but we hope the new format will become just as familiar as the old site in time.

Yeah but it doesn't load in a timely fashion! So even if you have "most" of the old data, it is inaccessable
