I really like that you include international artists as well as I like a lot of music from other countries. However, I notice that with many you have reviews of just a couple albums and/or a good bio of their early years and then just stop at say 2004 or mention later albums in one sentence without any further commentary. Two prime examples are Zeca Baleiro and Skank, two Brazilian artists which are among my favorites. Why?

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the compliments, and apologies that we haven't covered those two artists.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell what people mean when they use the term international when discussing music, but if you compare our coverage to the charts of many countries (especially music-mad countries like Mexico, the UK, Germany, Spain, and France), you'll find that we've got 80-90% of the albums covered. (And not just the type of global artists that chart everywhere, I'm talking about albums that haven't charted anywhere else.)

We probably haven't covered Brazil as well as other countries in the past few years -- and if there's any country that's music-mad, it's Brazil! -- but we'll see if we can pick it back up.

Thanks again for the comments.
