iOS app: unable to authenticate with my AllMusic account

I'm unable to authenticate to my AllMusic account in the iOS app. When I use my email address and password on the website, I can authenticate fine. However, whenever I use that same email address and password in the iOS app, I get an error:

"Please enter in the correct login information"

How can we correct this problem?

Additional information:

I don't want to post to this public forum the email address I use for my AllMusic account, but I could send it to you in a private message or email.

I know the email address I used is valid and working because I can use it on the AllMusic website and the company has sent me emails at that address. For example, a welcome message and most recently, the "Back in Blue" beta announcement.

Unfortunately the login and registration function for the iOS app was built on a different framework by a 3rd party that is no longer being supported.

So the bottom line is that logging into the iOS app uses a completely different and un-connected user profile system than the website does, and the two do not speak to each other.

I know that this stinks, but we don't really have a better solution to offer you in this regard.

Our hope is that users can use the mobile version of our website on their mobile devices to do the browsing, rating and receiving recommendations. If you add the page as a bookmark to your homescreen, it should function just like a native app, and it does use the same login and rating/recommendation system that the iOS app does.
