Hi Jason,

Thank you for letting us know. I'm having trouble replicating the issues on our side. In order to get down to the bottom of this, can you let me know which device you are using (iPad or iPhone) and what version of iOS? What screen are you on when it freezes?

What happens when you try to search for shows?

Also, if you could give an example of the search strings you were using, that could be helpful.

Does it freeze and then crash after you conduct these searches? Is it every time you search?

Thank you, Jason. I'll get information out to our engineer today so he can help debug the problem. In the meantime, you can Track Shows with our desktop or mobile sites, if you need to, and they will appear in the mobile app. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Very helpful screens and information.

I'm also having the same issue as Jason. I'm using iPhone 5 with iOS 7. It seems as though every week there's an issue with this app since it was remodelled. smh.

Not only with searches; but if I'm on the tracker tab and try to select a show it freezes there as well...

I'm having that same freezing on trackers tab as Jason Greene. On the trackers tab, it only freezes when you tap a show. It does not freeze if you tap the episode and go back, or tap that it is watched. Only when you tap the actual show itself.

Also noticed this version and the previous few versions; the app automatically jumps to App Store to download one particular game, Game of War-Fire Age.

Just noticed the same freezing happens on the schedules tab. It happens on both my schedule and tv schedule.

Also don't think the app was written to fit the older iPhones. On the genre tab, some genres don't fit on the screen, and when you scroll to it and let go it springs back to the top.

Hi Jason,

We've tracked down the bug and we think it's related to tapping into shows and back on the tab bar at the bottom quickly before the app has finished processing. This is a bug with iOS that we are developing a work around for.

Hi Jason,
We submitted a fix for the freezing and crashes to the app store on 4/2. We are waiting for Apple to approve the update, which should be in just a couple of days.  The Genres menu correction will be out in the update after this one.

The latest update went live in the iTunes store yesterday evening. You should be able to download it now, if you haven't already. Please let us know if you experience anymore crashes.

Good Morning Jen,

Sighhhh...where do I start? I've installed the update but now when I select a show & go to view a particular season the app freezes AGAIN!! It doesn't matter if its a previous season or current season, once I go with the intention to view episodes I can't because it just freezes.

I will say this again, I USED to love this app because of its friendly user interface, however since the 'compatibility with iOS 7 update' & the redesign, the app has been buggy on a weekly basis.

Same problem as with the genre tab but with notifications. It will not scroll all the way to the bottom. The on/off for show notifications are not lined up. Notifications previously set do not notify the user, user needs turn off and turn back on the notification in order for it to notify before the start of the show.

The app still isn't formatted to fit the screen, gray bar at the top above sidereel. App is still automatically switching to the App Store to download a game.

Hi Jen,

I have noticed a problem with the Internet connection as well. I find the app losing Internet connection from time to time, "No Internet Connection." I do not think it is a problem with the network connection, as other Internet devices on the same network is having no problems connecting to the internet and without trying to troubleshoot anything it can start or stop working again at anytime.

Hi Jason,

Thanks again for the feedback. I'll inquire with our developer about this. We have not seen an issue like this with iOS 7.

I'm seeing that issue with iOS 6.

I'm recently seeing constant notifications for one particular show. It aired yesterday, reminded me 10 minutes before as normal. Reminded again half hour later, and has reminded me several times since. Seems like its reminds me whenever I have shows airing, and sometimes randomly.

Hi Jason,

That does sound odd! Which show is this one in particular?

The show is Continuum. I played around with untracking and unnotifying that show. I must have forgotten to track the show again. I don't recall it notifying me of my shows on Sunday though (when it was not tracked). I did the same unnotify and notify trick for shows yesterday and it seemed to work. I just noticed I didn't track Continuum again, so I will see if it causes the same issue again.

After I set the app to track Continuum again, the last few days the app has not been notifying me of my shows. Even with toggling the "notify me" button. I resorted to deleting the app and reinstalling it, which solved the notification problem however it removed all my notifications. I had to go through my long list of shows and individually turn "notify me" back on for each show.

The app is continuing to notifying me of some shows and not others, I have double checked all these shows have notify me turned on.

Hi Jason,

We are still working with our engineer on a solution.  The problem is with iOS you have a limited number of notifications allowed (64). When you turn them all on for a group of shows, if there are a lot of shows, you are filling out the maximum allowable notifications. The app turns on all of the notifications for future occurrences as soon as you enable them. The more shows you enable, the quicker the iOS allocation of 64 notifications fills up. You can help by enabling just notifications for shows that are current in the meantime, until we have a fix out. You can just do this by disabling show notifications on a set of shows and not uninstalling the app.
