I have been having trouble with new episodes for show I am tracking not showing up in my queue. If I go to the show page, it shows that I am tracking it, it also appears in the calendar on the top of the my tracker page, they are just failing to appear in the queue.

Hi there, thanks for the report - that is strange! What shows are you seeing this happen for? Generally episodes will not show up in that list until online sources are available, so if you're seeing this for only particular shows, it could be that those shows don't have any options to watch and that's why they're not appearing there. Let me know if you think that's the case, otherwise let me know what shows that's happening for and what browser you're using.

I typically use Chrome, but I have replicated the issue in Firefox. Last week, I noticed it on Eureka, Make It or Break It, and Covert Affairs. Those shows appeared in my schedule, but not in the queue of tracked episodes. When I went to the show page they all had 50+ links and were listed as tracked.

That's odd - I'll test these out in Chrome & Firefox to see if that happens for me as well then let you know if I come across what might fix the issue.

the similar problem I am having is that on a monday for instance, my tracker will show sat and sun properly, but monday onwards is blank, so i am not seeing the shows displayed that i would ussually be looking forward to(so i have to use my brain and try to remember which shows ussualy air that day of the week). It is also constantly on the far right hand side of the screen, and not centered properly.

Hi Sam,
If you get a chance, would you please send us a screenshot of your calendar at contact@sidereel.com? This will help us get to the bottom of this issue! Thank you!

I'm having the same type of problem. For example, I'm tracking Lie to Me and it shows that I'm tracking it but it didn't show up in the daily email from Sidereel yet it was on last night. Also, the same is true for Parenthood - It didn't show up as being on tonight although I confirmed that 1) it is on tonight and 2) I'm supposedly tracking it.

If this feature doesn't work then there's not much point to staying on Sidereel for me.

Weird! I just tried tracking it as a test and it's showing up on my calendar for tonight. Can you send a screenshot of your tracker? It may be a display issue.

it's actually the daily email from sidereel that isn't showing the upcoming shows. i did see all the shows in the tracker.

Oh, I'm sorry -- I misread your report! Is it possible that you have two separate accounts? Sounds bizarre, but for example, some people who recently connected with Facebook don't realize that their Facebook-connected account may be separate from the account they had originally signed up with using their e-mail. If this is the case, the shows you've tracked with your newer Facebook-connected account won't necessarily show up in your daily e-mail because you aren't tracking the shows with that username.

My tracker is not updating for shows that aired tonight. Usually it updates by 7:00pm. This is the first time it has happened.

Hi Christopher! What do you mean specifically when you say that your tracker isn't updating?

It isn't updating for shows that air the same night. For example, it is 8:30pm and Once Upon at Time airs at seven. Usually, my tracker updates within hours of the show airing. Not it is not updating till almost the next day now.

Hi Christopher, I'm still unclear about what you mean by it not "updating." Do you mean Once Upon a Time isn't appearing in your tracker at all until the next day? If you could take a screenshot to better illustrate the issue you're experiencing, that would help out a lot!

This is happening to me as well. Here is an example:

Here is my calendar showing The Voice ran yesterday: http://i.imgur.com/LHoCp5P.png

My tracker is set to hide all shows that I am up to date on. I have not watched that episode of The Voice yet, so it should show up after Once Upon A Time, but it doesn't: http://i.imgur.com/NzF6BZp.png

When I uncheck "hide shows I'm up to date on", it shows that I am up to date on The Voice: http://i.imgur.com/vHxQH4T.png

But when I expand it, it shows the unwatched episode from last night: http://i.imgur.com/5ywAsDo.png

Hi Samantha! Thanks for taking the time to elaborate with these details and screenshots – really helps a lot! I'm personally stumped... your tracker should "recognize" by now that you have an unwatched episode of The Voice and therefore aren't still "up to date" on it.
One thing you can try is removing the show from your tracker temporary – just click "stop tracking" or "untrack" and then try tracking it again. Sounds silly, but sometimes it works! Let me know if it seems to behave any differently!

Ahh! That's great! Glad to hear it. It's a good (and weird) little trick to remember just in case anything starts acting funky again!

This did not work for me. I tried to untrack some shows that aired tonight, i.e. American Horror Story and they still say "You are up to date".

Could the TV Provider or Timezone I have listed have something to do with it? It has never done this before. My episodes usually show up on my tracker 12 or less from the airtime.

Hi Christopher. Our engineering team is looking into it as we speak! This definitely shouldn't be happening. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Tracker Status Delayed a Day Inconvenient AND Inefficient!.

Why are you now waiting to add current shows of the night to Tracker's Status List AFTER they've already shown, sometimes a day later? That makes it inconvenient AND inefficient since you're unable to check off as you watch on TV, therefore wasting storage on Status List. Would prefer in the Status List the night of the show. TY.

Hi AuraBug! This is actually an automated process that seems to be functioning incorrectly at the moment. Our engineering team is working on it!

Tracker Not Updating!.

Since yesterday (or maybe since you updated your site a few days ago?), my episode tracker hasn't been updating itself and acknowledging new episodes until midnight of the following day. I think its clock is a day behind or something. For instance, for the episodes that aired tonight (Wed, Oct 16), it still says "You are up to date! Next episode: October 16, 2013." I already made sure I have the right time zone set on my account, though I can only assume the issue is on your end, since I haven't made any changes to my account for years. Can you please resolve this for me? Thanks.

My tracker won't update. Normally, it updates "unwatched" shows, a few hours before the air date and time. So shows that air Thursday night at 8pm usually appear on the tracker under "unwatched" at around 6pm. It is 11pm the night that the shows have aired and they are still not showing up as "unwatched". It shows that I am "up to date" on all episodes of, for example, Grey's Anatomy, when in fact I know that I have not updated Grey's Anatomy and have clicked "watched" for tonight's episode.

Thursday, tonight, it should have updated: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Parks and Rec, Grey's Anatomy, White Collar and Sean Saves the World

Last night, Wednesday, the tracker should have shown these shows in my unwatched section: The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family and American Horror Story

Episode list delays.

Hey guys,
I want to start out by saying that I love using sidereel. Don't know what I would do without it. And the site just keeps getting better so keep up the good work!
The only issue I've had is that lately, the episode list of that days episodes doesn't seem to be updated until the next day. For example, it's already 11 50 pm on Sunday night at the moment and my unwatched Sunday episodes are still not showing up in my list. It tells me that I'm upto date with all the episodes when I know that I haven't marked off sunday's episodes as watched yet.

Like I said earlier, this problem just started up fairly recently. Until about a week ago, by 8pm the list would update itself to reflect that evenings shows... Just figured I'd let you guys know and wondering if we could go back to the way things were

Thanks,
M.
