Hi mrpotter,
Unfortunately unless it's an entirely new show, our episode listings are based on when the show first aired originally. Since our site is most concerned with when a show is first available for viewing online, we don't make duplicate listings of the same show to reflect re-airings.

We need to have the US version of the tv show MERLIN listed so we can have the correct reminders. It is on the SYFY channel on Fridays at 10 pm.

We also need the US version of Lost Girl. It is on SYFY on Mondays at 10 pm.
Thanks.

I watch several shows that are broadcast in both the UK and the US (Downton, Sherlock, Top Gear). I love knowing when the shows first air/become available but I wish my tracker would also show when the episodes first air in my country. US air dates for shows I follow are usually a few months after the UK air dates and I would like the US air dates to show up in my tracker so I can tune in when they are broadcast here. It would be helpful if I could check a box to choose to see original air dates only, air dates for my country, or both original air date and air date for my country. This could even be done within the current system by creating secondary, subsidiary tracking pages for shows divided by country. I could then choose to track (for example) Sherlock AND Sherlock (US air dates) so both airings would show up in my tracker.

Hi unholyghost! Thanks for submitting your idea! We totally hear what you're saying, but unfortunately this isn't currently feasible given the way the site is set up. Since SideReel is focused specifically on watching TV online and less when it actually airs on TV, our listings reflect when a show is first made available. In other words, it's irrelevant to an online TV watcher if something is re-airing on TV because it's already been available to watch online for the past however-many months. We realize this is misleading considering some users do use our listings to supplement their watching of actual on-air TV (and not just online watching), but since every episode on our site is manually added by members of our content team, creating multiple schedules for shows to reflect repeat airings is unfortunately not realistically doable at this time.
BUT it's not all bad news! We're planning on implementing more detailed, region-specific scheduling calendars to better supplement what's airing on TV for those who DO use those listings, so while we don't have an arrival date for this feature just yet, we do hear what you're saying and hope we can deliver better listings based on your preference and region in the future!
