Netflix Shows and Hiatuses

I was wondering how you guys classify Netflix Original Shows (or even other tv shows that air online) that basically give out their whole season at once (or in some cases, part of a season) with regards to hiatuses.

For example, I am tracking Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which had its first season released on March 6, 2015 and season 2 is due to come out in Spring 2016 (according to the show's Wikipedia page). It's classed as "Current" on the tracker. Technically, wouldn't it be on hiatus?

Hi Ashley,

We pondered this one long and hard, but ultimately decided to keep them listed as current for as many weeks as it would take a traditional network to broadcast them. Otherwise they'd only be listed as current for a day before they went to hiatus.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, it does. And that's an excellent strategy.
Thank you.
