Hello SideReelers,

We want to thank you for your suggestions and feedback about the new version of the site, and we have been working hard to improve the site. We received some great feedback and suggestions for improving the user profile especially. You told us you wanted faster profile loading, more options for viewing different states of your tracked shows, plus a quick and easy way to see what's new for you to watch.

So, check out what we've done to make all that happen!

The new profile will feature:

Next Episode - Each show will include a Next Episode button which will take you to the episode that's next for you based on the episodes you have marked as watched.

Multiple Viewing Control of each show - This will allow you to toggle different views of episodes per show including Next Episode, Unwatched episodes, and All episodes.

Stop Tracking button - Stop Tracking will now remove a show from your tracker.

The new version of SideReel is still a work in progress, but we are taking all possible steps towards making it great for all our users. Stay tuned for the updated profile late in the week of 9/27 that we hope will give you more much desired control of your profile page.

Please share your feedback about this new profile, and your suggestions will go on our list for the next updates!

So for the multiple viewing control what happens if we select "show unwatched episodes" and there are none? Will that show still appear in the center as it is now?

If there aren't any, you'll just see a message that tells you you're up to date on your shows. Thanks for checking!

Ok, well that doesn't really fix the problem that people have constantly been mentioning. What people want (based on the majority of comments I have read and my own opinion) is to ONLY have shows with unwatched episodes in the center. I have about 35 shows that I track but only about 3 with unwatched episodes. I don't want to have to scroll through all of my tracked shows to find the ones with unwatched episodes. The way it was before the update was great. Only shows with unwatched episodes appeared into the center but all the other shows were off to the right-hand side so we could still see what we were tracking yet could easily find unwatched episodes. Please read people's comments and take them into consideration before you put effort into an update that people don't want.

The new website is good but I like the old tracking show page much better, the new setup makes it much harder to see what you have and have not watched. The shows which are no longer on -air are in the same column as the ones who are still on-air which is really confusing.

Perhaps I don't use SideReel the way most people do but I would love to see a couple features added. With the new look especially, I would find it very helpful to be able to "collapse" all the seasons/episodes of a show (please see image I uploaded that illustrates this feature idea).

As it is now, I have so many shows that I am tracking that my list is a long long scroll down to the second half of the alphabet. If I were able to toggle (and save to my profile settings) the collapse of the list for any shows I wanted, My long trek down to The Closer for example would be so much easier.

Also, related to this concept, I would love to have a whole new section of my profile where all my "Favorites" could be displayed in a tidy and convenient grid. Like I said, I watch and track a lot of different shows so a grid view which of course links to each show's individual page would be so efficient.

Thanks for everything.
Best regards,
-Gideon
