The new site is good, but its really slow and the last tracking page was better. having these big icons makes it much harder to see what you have and have not watched

this does not answer the question. until all the improvments are done it is still an open question.

It would also be nice to be able to follow shows but hide the giant icon placeholder when there's nothing new on them.

dear sidereel-it's true, i like the other setup. and, well this is on the wrong tv week yesterday and today. and is it possible to have the previous week's/weeks' schedule available? i don't get to shows right away sometimes and now with this setup i can't find stuff i watch and seasons are ending. thanks. you're awesome.

I feel the same, I use sidereel every day, and the new tracker with big icons and placeholders for shows taking up so much of the screen when there are no new episodes there is very frustrating. I can wait for features like the direct link button to come bck, but please don't leave us with this huge tracker page that is so annoying to traverse! Otherwise always an excellent service, but the previous format was just much easier to use.

Should let people opt in for the beta vs forcing it upon all your users.. i really can't stand the new layout

I agree with with many of the comments posted re: new format, but have not been able to access my tracker nor my profile page....I tried to post a question/comment to Sidereel last week, but after writing couple of paragraphs about this & the absence of the link editor, filing out all the fields requested & typing the letters in the box. When I tried to post, it wouldn't let me --saying that my password didn't match my user name; then my e-mail address didn't match, etc--> I tried 3 times-->but here's the rub---> I was already logged in.

One of my questions, I wrote thinking I would get a reply from ' the company' ---that I could not send--was "Do I have to open a new account or 'sign up' for the mini tracker that I used to have, before the new format?"

I am writing this under "Reply to Spencer's question' in hope that another user may have a solution, a useful answer or suggestion, unlike the reply Spencer got from "the Company" (posted above on this page).

The old web page was better, especially the tracking page. I used to use side reel everyday, now its more fustrating than convenient. Can you put it back to the old format and only switch over when this one is finished?

Hi Caitlin, sorry you're feeling frustrated with the new tracker page. An improved update on the profile page based on user feedback is right around the corner. Thanks for being patient with us while we work out the kinks!

The improved tracking page is so much better than what was first presented on the new site format. Thanks for listening to us and our feedback!

I liked how the old tracker thing was almost like an inbox for newly aired programmes (being able to "delete", mark as watched, episodes I've watched.) The calendar only shows the past week but if I havn't been able to watch programmes for a couple of weeks then I can't quickly glance at recently aired programmes to check to see episodes that I havn't watched yet.

So now I have a large list of old (no longer airing) series in between the currently airing series and can no longer see clearly how many eps of the recently aired episodes I have to catch up on...

I like how if I decided to start watching some old programme I can now track how far I am through but that "quick glance inbox" was really nice and handy

I agree that the old site was better. The new format isn't user friendly so I rarely come on. I just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to look at a list of the shows I'm tracking so I can update it. Not only could I not find it, the answer posted for a similar question didn't work. I find this new site frustrating, not something I come on a website to feel.

Hi Rita, sorry to hear you're having trouble navigating around the new version of the site. You shouldn't find the new version of the tracker to be much different than it was prior to our upgrade to version 2, save for a few swapped features. If you have any specific questions about using the site and your tracker, please let me know and I'd love to help you out!

Reintroduce column view into /users page

I liked how I could quickly skim my startup screen. Now it's cluttered with images between "You are up to date!" and "Episode X: Foobar". It's no longer in a column with related data underneath eachother. Adding some padding or margin from the left side to align this message even with "Status: ..." would already be an improvement.
