Poor web design

The old design was more informative, more intuitive and easily navigated. I am disappointed with the new set-up. I would reference the old site often and looked to it as an authority. I feel you have made a mistake and somehow lessened the integrity and the impact of your information-- if a person can even find what they are looking for. For whatever it is worth, I am a musician and a designer (web, etc.). Evolution is good, but change for the sake of change (and not improving) is just bad. The first thing someone should find from a band search is an overview of the band. I thought I somehow ended up on the wrong site. I realize now the site is just wrong.

Hi Brad,

Thank you for your feedback. Our search box now searches for bands, albums, and songs, all together. However, when typing in a band's name, the band is still often the first item to come up in the general search. For example, this is the quick search for Beatles:

And even when you reach the Search Results page, The Beatles are still the first band to turn up:

As far as being intuitive and ease of navigation, we understand that any change from the old site immediately moves things around and it becomes harder to navigate until one gets used to the site again. We're hoping that with time, the new site becomes as familiar as the old site. Thanks for stopping by.
