Facebook Posts - Every time I log into SideReel, using Facebook, I'm asked if SR can post to my profile. No. It's always no. And 'no' isn't an option so instead I'm forced to hit 'skip' or 'maybe later'; whatever it says. There needs to be an option that lets users log in with their Facebook accounts but doesn't try and strong arm them into posting their activity to their wall.

Hi Joshua,

You're right, what you're describing is a problem.

Our Facebook app was created quite some time ago, and as such it asks for permissions to publish along with everything else at the same time.  I understand how this could be frustrating -- the intent is not to strongarm users at all, but just a bit of code that  needs some work. We will definitely look into modifying our Facebook app such that publishing is not requested on each login, but it is likely to be a complex upgrade.

However, you can tell Facebook "okay" while also turning off any sharing to your Facebook profile via the Sharing settings on SideReel.  Right now, only tracks and watches are shared to Facebook, and you can turn that off.  We are planning to add more sharing options soon, but those will similarly have settings that allow you to turn everything off.

If you're not comfortable with that, the best solution is for us to give you a username and password you can log in with instead.
