Looks like the search engine is not working well today. Tried to find Glass Hammer and got no results. Thought it might be an issue with the search engine so I included a search for Van Halen who are on the home page and got the same lack of results.

WHAT have you done? I search for 'Canned Heat', nothing. I search for The Prodigy, nothing. I search for Beatles - NOTHING!!! WTF??????
This used to be such a good site for info on all kinds of artists, in fact for me it was the definitive guide - now it's completely useless.

Apologies, our search service is currently having issues. Engineers are investigating the issue, as we speak. Hopefully things should be back to normal shortly.

Thank you for your patience! -d

In the Advanced Album Search, please add filters: for title, album type, and record label. I'd also like a filter for credits, but at least allow the filter for album artists to select multiple artists so I can search for collaborative albums.

P.S. my idea at https://getsatisfaction.com/allmusic/... can be closed now since it was too broad anyway.

Dear AllMusic,

I was still trying to do a search for artist and the song, but any problem is that entering any search always takes me to the webpage which says that none of these results are found, but I'm just wondering why?

Sincerely,
Thomas Wiencek

Yep. The company we use to provide search technology is broken (again). We're actively working to replace them with our own search.

Apologies for this. We're working to fix it.

In the meantime, a hacky work-around can be to google the phrase "David Bowie AllMusic" and then get to the page from the Google results.

Not ideal, but it may get you there until we have the search back online.
