You have listed several shows as concluded, rather than actually listing them as cancelled. Including: 10 Things I Hate About You, Angel, Dark Angel, Dead Like Me, Dollhouse, Ghost Whisperer, Gilmore Girls, Hellcats, Heroes, Joan of Arcadia, Kyle XY, Legend of the Seeker, Life Unexpected, Point Pleasant, Roswell, The Gates, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, and Veronica Mars.

Hi Miranda,
For now, we've actually made the official change to categorize all shows that are "over" as Concluded - meaning shows that were once categorized as "Canceled" will be grouped in to that status. This will help you more easily sort your tracker as we roll out new features soon. But we do recognize the important difference between shows that were prematurely canceled that those that were actually concluded and wrapped up, so we're developing a separate genre page to help organize the shows that were canceled before they had the chance to run their full course. Stay tuned!

Why not instead of saying a show was concluded when it was obvious to most of the public, it was cancelled. For instance, Smallville was concluded, whereas Heroes was cancelled

Hi Gen! Thanks for pointing that out - as explained above, we used to make this distinction in the show status, but for the sake of tracker organization purpose, we've categorized all shows that are 'over' as concluded, but made a separate genre tag for shows that were canceled. http://www.sidereel.com/_television/g...
Sorry for the confusion!

Hi Miranda - as described above, instead of having separate statuses for concluded vs. canceled, we've made the distinction by creating a genre tag for canceled shows.

Hi Wendy. I'm a bit confused about the issue you're describing. There are only 4 possible statuses:
1. Upcoming (which means the show is brand-new and hasn't started yet)
2. Current (which means it's currently airing new episodes)
3. Hiatus (on a break but will return with new episodes in the future)
4. Concluded (the series is over and no longer airing new episodes)

What shows are you unsure about? I'll be happy to clear anything up for you!

Hi. I'm just wondering if there are any updates on this topic? I would prefer to see a show that has been canceled to be labeled as canceled instead of concluded.

Hi kaand86,
As described above, all shows that are effectively "over" are labeled as Concluded, while shows that were canceled are additionally labeled with the genre tag 'Canceled.' You can find the genre page here: http://sidereel.com/_television/genres/canceled

Include a "cancelled" status not just concluded, hiatus, and current. I would like to know if a show was prematurely cancelled or had a full run and ended presumably when the writers knew and could give it some sort of ending to reflect the show not continuing.

Hi Rebecca! We don't consider "canceled" to be its own status (it's really more of a subset of "concluded" — in the sense that the show is "over," but not necessarily with a finished story line). However, we do recognize the distinction and therefore categorize canceled shows under their own genre here: http://www.sidereel.com/_television/genres/canceled
I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but hope that helps!
