Why am I not receiving the email to confirm my account?

I created an account on SideReel then clicked the link asking me to confirm my email address for my account. I waited a while and didn't receive the confirmation email. What do I do?

First check your junk mail as it may have ended up there instead of your inbox being an unfamiliar email address.

If it's not in your inbox or junk mail, it's possible your email security settings are too high for the email to even make it to junk mail.

Try adding info@sidereel.com to your email contacts, then clicking the confirmation link on the site again. You should receive the email in your inbox within about 20-30 minutes.

Hi rolatio2, did you try out our suggestions of adding info@sidereel.com to your email contacts and/or lowering your email security settings?

yeah im having this problem too. i used to just use my facebook to connect, but i dont see anywhere to do that on the new site except for when i try to post this. and so i forgot my password, and i changed it. and then the site said it was changed and i was signed in but then there was something directly below it telling me to sign in and it didnt really look like i was signed in so i tried and then it said i had to confirm my account first. i dont see anywhere to request a confirmation email, and im not getting one. and yes ive tried your suggestions.

oh nvm this isnt even actually sidereel.com so connecting through face book on here doesnt get me to the shows

I'm not getting any email confirmation!

I tried adding info@sidereel.com, i tried lowering my email security system but nothing seems to be working out for me.

SideReel says I haven't added my email address yet, but I must have made sure i have a dozen times. My user name is GrahamC and my email address is graham@grahampayne.com, after this is taken care of would you please send me the confirmation email, Thanks.

Even though I have subscribed for some reason I am asked to keep subscribing and cannot add more tv shows to my list and when I send the confirmation e-mail I don't recive it on my e-mail adresse

Hi Steen! At this point if you're still not receiving the email, it's likely an issue with your email server, which is blocking automated emails from SideReel for whatever reason. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to fix that ourselves, so you can either contact your email provider, or if you have a different email you'd like to try (from a different email provider), I'd be happy to change the email on your account. Just let me know!
