Merlin now airs on Syfy in the USA. There is no option to track the show on Syfy. BBC is not carrying the current episodes.

Now what?

Hi Teresa, I'm afraid I'm a little unclear on your question. You're right about not being able to track it based on the Syfy schedule specifically - since the show has already aired on BBC, we already have season 3 in its entirety on the site. However, this shouldn't affect your ability to watch it in whatever order or timing you choose through the site -- make sure you're clicking "search links" for the full list of viewing options.

My comment was that I cannot TRACK the show properly. The new season is airing on Syfy in the USA, not BBC. (Apparently it only aired on BBC in the UK). I would like to TRACK the show and see it on my schedule.

You're right -- since the show has already aired and season 3 is already available, you can't track the show based on its re-airing on Syfy. Therefore it will not show up on your personal calendar on the days that Syfy re-airs them, but you can still track the show via the list in your profile and mark them as watched when you do so. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for the clarification. Last question .... Since BBC did not air these episodes in the USA at all ... is there a way to have the system show the Syfy airings, perhaps under a separate entry? With more global shows out there, this seems like it will be an ongoing issue.

Good question. As of now, no, but we'll definitely keep that in mind for future developments! While there are a number of shows that fit this description (even with American shows like Friday Night Lights, which airs first on DirecTV and then later on in the season on NBC), it hasn't really been an issue thus far (mainly users are just concerned about the availability of the episodes and accessible links). However, with our new iPhone app and our alerts feature when you're show is about to air on TV, this is definitely a smart thing to keep in mind!

Thank you Alex. I look forward to this as a possible future enhancement. :)
