In-ear monitor causes buzzing in Alto TX15

Wireless in ear monitor system causes speakers to produce a loud hum or buzzing sound. I have tested with different mixers, distance between components, different cables, different currents, it was not untill i tested with a different speaker that the noise went away. This must mean that the inear system interferes with the speakers, what can I do?

  • Hi Nils,

    Thanks for posting.

Yes, it sounds like there is some interference going on, which can occur when your setup is not properly grounded. Make sure you're using the included power cable and that you're connected to a power strip. It may also be helpful to test your speakers with another IEC cable to confirm your power supply isn't bad.

How far is your monitor system from your speakers?
