What is event stack size?

I expect to be sending a relatively large number of DR events from our utility account to several management sets and want to make sure I won't exceed any limits.
Is there a maximum number of active or future events that can be sent by a utility (I assume once an event has passed, it falls off the stack)?
Is there a maximum number of thermostats that can be assigned to a management set to which DR events are sent?
Is there a maximum number of active or future events that can be retained by a thermostat?
Thank you,
Allen Downs

  • There are no maximum limits to the number of DR events, number of thermostats in a management set, or events retained by a thermostat.

However, I would strongly recommend not to have thermostats hold a large number of future events. These are all stored on the thermostat's flash memory and get transmitted back and forth with every thermostat configuration change (e.g. set point change). So it introduces unnecessary overhead and network traffic.
