Can't Access my BC Projects from PlannerX

I am attempting to log in to PlannerX. I am able to get past the first login, but when I attempt to log in to my basecamp account, rather than receiving a list of my projects, I receive a blank screen. Please advise.

If you wait for a while, does it load PlannerX application? If you right click on the blank page, what do you see?

PlannerX runs in Flash player. Do you have Flash Player 9+ installed? If not, please do so.

It may take a while to download, but should work.

What browser are you running? Does it show you any warnings?

Let us know if you continue to face problems.

I'm having the same issue.
1. Yes I have Flash Player 9 or newer installed.
2. Still doesn't load while I wait.
3. Running Firefox. 3.5.8
4. No warnings shown, just blank screen.
5. Rt. clicked and nothing.
Please Advise.

I am sorry you are having issues.

Can you please try from another browser? Login from http://plannerx.appsmagnet.com/

We have had some issues with our hosting provider (MediaTemple) over the last week. They had some downtime in between. So if you clear your cache and try again, it should help too.

I tried Internet Explorer as my browser and it loaded. However, I usually use and prefer Firefox. I cleared the cache in Firefox and it didn't help. Is there a way to continue using Firefox with your software? I'm afraid we may not keep our subscription if we are limited to Internet Explorer.

Hi,

PlannerX certainly works with Firefox as well. As a matter of fact, our primary browser is Firefox. We have tested PlannerX with both Firefox 3.5.8 and 3.6 and it does work.

Could you try using Firefox from another machine? Or another login on the same machine? I suspect it's some local setting / cache problem that's making it not load.

Can you also wait for a little bit longer while it loads? If you use Firebug, you may want to try whether the .swf file is loading completely.

I'm now using Google Chrome to run Planner x. Firefox is my main browser but Plannerx still doesn't run in it. I tried from another machine but it's still not working. I left the window open waiting longer, but it still doesn't load. I don't use Firebug. I'd like to use Firefox so I hope this gets fixed. I also wonder if others are having this problem.

We have many people using Firefox with PlannerX without any other reported issues.

Can you tell us the following:

- What version of Flash Player do you have?
- What OS are you running on?
- Does upgrading to Firefox 3.6 and Flash Player 10 solve the issue?

If it still fails, can we do screen sharing to see the exact problem and find a solution?

I checked all and finally saw that I was running a previous version of Firefox. I upgraded to 3.6 and it works now. Yeah! Thanks.

I have the same issue. I tried with Firefox 3.6.2, IE 8, and Chrome. I get past the first login and then it just sits...waiting for projects to be listed. The projects never get listed...just blank. I've cleared cache and restarted browser. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Scott,

How many projects do you have? Do you have many?

Does the user you are logging in with, has access to some projects?

Nirav - I have 12 active projects in Basecamp. The user I am logging in with (myself) is the Administrator and Account Owner. I have access to all projects. Thanks for your assistance in advance.

Let me know how to resolve.

Hi Scott,

Hmm.. That should work. So you see PlannerX loaded, and it's awaiting project list to be populated. And that never does.

Can you create an account for us on your Basecamp system, assign us some projects? You can use "support at appsmagnet dot com" as the email. We will then see if we can load projects using this login. And resolve any problems we notice.

I have the same problem. I tried everything, latest firefox, latest flash, waiting, clearing cache, other computer... nothing works.
I sent an email to support with a screenshot and no reply yet. It is very frustrating.
I hate IE and don't like Chrome... what am I supposed to do?
