AwayFind filter isn't detecting any emails.

I want AwayFind to call my phone whenever I get a Google Voice text message, so I have a filter forwarding all email from txt.voice.google.com, which was working fine until from October 6th no more emails have been saved in my AwayFind inbox or forwarded to my phone. I have the same filter set up in my Gmail and it works fine, I know I'm getting the emails.

Could my Gmail filter be interfering with my AwayFind filter? It skips the inbox, mark's as read, apply's a label, and forwards it.

How can I fix this?

I highly recommend switching to the Boxcar method of simply forwarding to an Awayfind email address, it seems like it would be a lot more stable, easier for the user, and then it will work with any email provider.

Thanks!

Hi Mark,

AwayFind only monitors messages that arrive in your inbox. So that would likely be the problem. If a Gmail filter (or you personally) moves it before AwayFind sees it then it won't trigger a notification.

Cheers!

Okay, I setup a new gmail and awayfind account and had a filter that will forward all email from the secondary gmail account to my phone, and forwarding whatever email I want from my primary gmail account to my secondary gmail account, thus essentially implementing the boxcar method, so now I can create filters to remove something from my inbox and forward it to both awayfind and boxcar. Now that it's setup like this I can easily edit filters from within Gmail (or any email account) without the Chrome plugin!
