Bulk activate/deactivate notification methods

At the moment, I have a number of different notification methods set up, and the methods I need depend on the situation I am in.

E.g. I live within 20 miles two international borders, and only have 3G data connectivity in my own country. So I can use the phone app to receive notification whenever I am "home", but need SMS notification when I go abroad.

It would be great if there was a way to tick a number of rules and activate different notification methods in bulk.

Hi Lutz,

So sorry, it looks like GetSatisfaction didn't send us an alert for this support request (we see a whole bunch on exactly the same day..trying to figure out what went wrong). We're going to reply momentarily. SOOOO sorry about that.

Lutz,

Interesting question. If you are using rules for FROM or SUBJECT that don't expire, you can manage all of those at once, very easily. This has only been possible for the last month or so. You can do that by visiting:

https://orchant.awayfind.com/admin/al...

And checking the boxes on the right.

You can also change the defaults for the Gmail Google Apps gadget or the Outlook plugin by changing those settings or by changing them here:

https://orchant.awayfind.com/admin/no...

So, in short, we've made it way easier to manage the notification methods you use in bulk now. But only for the most common rules -- people and topics.

Really do hope that helps, and again, apologies for the delay, this really wasn't our intention to make you wait and it was a complete mistake in missing this topic before.

Dear Jared,

no worries at all about the delay -- this was not an urgent question in any case! Thanks for getting back to me, I much appreciate it! This does indeed solve my problem!

Best,
Lutz
