I’m happy

Love the new site!

Love the new website. Read The Sun everyday online. I live in San Diego but grew up in Balto. The Sun remains my prime news source online along with Google News. There's no better coverage of my Terps, Ravens and O's. The new site is laid out very well and I can get more info on the main page without having to navigate away.

  • I live overseas and I use the Sun as my browser home page. Open a window and connect to home! The new site is a vast improvement. Far less cluttered and more navigable. Much more like picking up a real newspaper, having the option of choosing the section. It is closer to the smell of newsprint than the old site. One suggestion, though, would be to allow a reader to prioritize preferences for which section of the paper is on top. For example, as an older reader who grew up with World and National news on the front page, I like to have "Section A" be the first thing. In today's site, I don't really care for the Terps or basketball and that is the most prominent feature. That story shouldn't be the dominating news item.

Dating myself but I really like the old way of organizing a paper by section! I do like the internal tabs you've put in each section.

    Mark,

Thanks for the kind words. We're glad you like the new look and feel.

We are looking into the possibility for users to change the page around. If you can click on Idea and submit this as an idea. I'd be interested to see how many people would be interesting in using a feature like this.
