In InternetExporer8 the description part at the bottom of a map doesn't get displayed right. It gets cut off at the right hand side, so that several group markers descriptions are not visible.

I've seen this problem as well. Any news on when to expect a fix for this? Seems to be along the same lines as the recent Mozilla Firefox problem http://gsfn.us/t/2db3k.

Thanks in advance.

One more info about this:
the problem only occurs in Internet Explorer 8 when compatibility view is NOT switched on.
If it is switched on everything's fine.

Apparently, if you'd put:

<!-- Mimic Internet Explorer 7 -->
meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" (opening and closing brackets left out, so it will be displayed here at all)

into the header of your maps that would solve the problem (of course, there might be a smoother way to solve it as well:)).

This problem still exists. It would be great, if someone could fix it.

Thanks!

Hi Kathrin - can you send me the URL to a map exhibiting this behavior to admin@batchgeo.com ? Thanks!
