How do I setup an automatic weekly transfer to my child's account?

I can see how to manually transfer funds from my TDA Ameritrade Account to my family members. I don't see how to setup or edit an automatic weekly transfer to their accounts. Please help?

  • If you have previously connected your home bank to your TD Ameritrade account, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your TD Ameritrade account

    2. Click "Accounts" tab and select "Deposit/Withdrawal"

    3. Under "Select a Transaction", choose Deposit to TD Ameritrade and select Electronic (ACH)

    4. Under "Select a Fund Source", choose your bank

    5. Under "Enter the Transaction Date", choose "weekly" and your desired start
    date

    6. Enter dollar amount and continue

    7. Verify your data and submit

  • Thank you. It looks like this would help setup an automatic deposit to TDA. Now that I have made my initial deposit to open my TDA Ameritrade Account. What do I do next?

I guess I'm wondering, How do I setup Breadvault to transfer $6.00 each week from my master TDA Ameritrade Account to my daughter's account.

I guess I'm just not sure how to get the money 'flowing' to my kids accounts every week.

I can see how to get the money to TDA just not to my kids.

    Thank you

  • Emjay,

Currently there isn't an automatic transfer mechanism built for money inside BreadVault. It is a feature that is in que and will be available soon.

For now, please continue to rely on the Quick Transfer function and manually move money into your kids' accounts. The Quick Transfer function is located on the Family Dashboard of the website.

    Thanks!
