I've installed Whatsapp on BlueStacks. How can I upload a photo from my PC to the app?
(btw, where does BlueStacks search my PC for the photo gallery?)
simply install "QuickPic" from the play store, Everything done!! can share photos, change your whatsapp dp.. etc, !! its just a 10 seconds job.. :D
Thanks for your interest in BlueStacks BETA and sharing your problem.
You can import the pics/files from phone to PC and then to Whatsapp. Windows drives are mapped to /data/windowsdata inside BlueStacks. You can open these drives using any file explorer app and open files in READ-ONLY mode.
Open File Manager, go to /data/windowsdata . Browse to the desired folder and open the file.
So, please place your pics/files on your C drive and then access this drive from inside BlueStacks.
You can use dropbox on windows and in android to sync files files between windows and sd card folder in BlueStacks.
You can also use an email client like K-9 to open your email and save attachments in the SD Card folder.
A File manager app like ASTRO file manager or ADAO File manager can be used to move files within folders in BlueStacks.
