I too am having this issue. When I click on a bullhorn reach email it prompts a dialogue box which says it is searching for cloudfront and pretty much freezes up my outlook for a minute or two.

The problem I have is that when I go to click a Bullhorn email (candidate application), the email freezes and Outlook is not responsing.

After about 20 seconds the email opens and I can continue, but why is there this lag time?

It would be great if someone from Bullhorn could reply to this issue.

Phil,

Please review the “problems” questions on the community bulletin board – many of us are very frustrated with the lack of response to our issues.

I am having this same problem and may cause to look for an alternative service if this can not be fixed.

Thank you for making us aware of the issue. We are currently working on a fix which should be deployed this afternoon.

In the meantime, you can avoid this issue by updating your Outlook settings to block images by default. Instructions can be found at: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/out...

The issue is being caused by a recent switch to enable secure browsing for Bullhorn Reach, which has the side effect of making outlook attempt to load a protocol relative URL which it is not able to handle.

Thank you for your patience while we resolve this.

As with the others, this caused me a great deal of time loss yesterday, trying to research the issue. It would be helpful if an announcement is made on this thread when the issue is resolved.

Hi, Not sure what is going on but the candidate inquiries are causing my Outlook to crash every time I highlight, read or forward. Is anyone else having this problem?

We deployed a fix for this bug this afternoon and any new emails that are sent by Reach will not cause issues in Outlook.

Unfortunately, emails that have already been sent may still cause this issue. You can prevent any issues with existing emails by enabling image blocking in Outlook.

To enable image blocking:

Go to the "Tools" menu and select "Trust Center." Click "Automatic Download." Select the check box to "Warn me before downloading content when editing, forwarding or replying to e-mail."

Matt, thanks for your reply. However I have updated the Trust Centre Automatic Downloads and its still freezing for 20 seconds before openng the email.

There was a mention that this was due to be fixed yesterday afternoon. How is this looking now?

Alex

Thank you.
