Reach needs to be connected to a personal account, but if you don't want the job posts to be shared with your personal connections you can disable it.

The other thing to do is to enable the Facebook page integration. That way, all of the jobs you post will be posted on your page's Wall and you can add an Open Positions tab that lists them as well.

Here are the steps:

  1. Make sure that the Facebook account you connect has admin privileges for your Facebook page

  2. To enable the Facebook page integration, follow the instructions on this page: http://www.bullhornreach.com/help/fac...

  3. To limit your updates, click on your name in the upper right corner and then click on Networks. In the Facebook section, click where it says "all your friends." The control you see allows you to pick which of your friends can see the posts from Reach. Anyone that is not selected will not see any of your updates.

I got this all set-up. But now in Bullhorn reach, I am unable to de activate the post from going to my personal wall or friends being able to see it. I am trying to keep biz and personal seperate as much as possible. And direct all business contacts to our corp page.

Thanks

Accrding to facebook, I am the administrator (who else could be?) of my personal facebook account, but BH is not recognizing it and saying I am not the administrator, and can, therefore, not link Reach to it. Please advise.

Patrick - currently your Reach account is configured to promote jobs to a Facebook company page, but there's no company page configured. To change this, please review the FAQ here.

I am encountering the same problem. Can someone explain what can be done? The help sections is not useful because it not brings any solutions.

Yes, I am encountering the same problem. Is there a fix for that? I am still unable to deactivate the post from going to my personal wall.

#3 from my response above answers your question:

To limit your updates, click on your name in the upper right corner and then click on Networks. In the Facebook section, click where it says "all your friends." The control you see allows you to pick which of your friends can see the posts from Reach. Anyone that is not selected will not see any of your updates. You must select at least one person, but no one else will see your updates.

That doesnt help me any. I only want it to post to my Company Page and None of my friends. My company page is not one of my facebook friends. If I deselect all, will it still automatically add to my company page?

Also, using the current system ste up that you provided above, it does not show on the company wall which I want it to and it only shows in the current openings on the left list. I want it to post to the Company Page Wall.

What are the fixes for that?

This is most likely a configuration issue on your company page. You can configure the Wall of a company page to display only posts from the page itself or posts by anyone. Yours looks like it's doing the latter.

To change this, navigate to your company page, click edit, and choose manage permissions. You can then change your default display to "Wall tab shows everyone" Then, your page should display the postings from your Reach account.

If you connect your Facebook account, you can set Reach up so that it only posts to Facebook pages. First, you need to configured the connection to your company Facebook page using the instructions in the help section.

Then, on the Networks Tab, you can change your Facebook setting so that updates are not sent to any of your personal friends.

With these settings, when you share a job via Facebook, it will only go to your company Facebook page and not to your Facebook friends.

it say share to and the only options I have are companypages - I don't want that as I don't have admin rights and never will. I want to post to my personal page, how do I do that?

I keep getting the following message "Invalid response from Facebook." when I connect to Facebook. I dont have a personal page, rather a company page.
Do I need a personal page for this to work?

Currently the social media icons in your Reach profile are hard-coded to connect to your personal social media accounts. Unfortunately the Facebook icon cannot be configured to connect to your company's Facebook company page.

It keeps posting to my personal page, and pulling from my personal page. The profile picture when I post to LinkedIn is my personal profile picture, and it is not posting to my group page. I did all the steps outlined. i don't want it associated with me personally - my profile pic on my own Facebook page is of my children - that is what is being displayed to job seekers!!

I too am suffering the same and Bullhorn won't let me re-check the link so It keeps posting jobs to my personal page (AND YES I HAVE READ THE HELP PAGES!!) and I noticed it changed around December 2011. The profile picture when I post to LinkedIn is from my personal profile picture and cannot really understand why it changed when the link posting to my group page was fine for at since I set up Bullhorn to link to it.

I did all the steps outlined and I dont want my personal friends to have the jobs posted into their timeline, so come Bullhorn speak to Facebook and sort this mess out will you.
