No newspaper information about a famous Colorado Family?

I am looking for information about the ANFENGER family, which was quite well known in the Colorado Territory and afterwards in Denver. A search of the Historical Newspapers brings up nothing. I find this very hard to believe. Where do I go from here?

The database appears to be down. If you try to search "Denver," it yields zero results. And there are dozensf articles on that family.
