Can't install on Mac desktop/laptop

When trying to install ClinicServer on my Mac desktop/laptop I get the following error:

"New App can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers."

    The following link from Apple Support explains why this is happening and how to fix it:

    To fix this issue please do the following:

    • Go to

    • Download the Computer App

    • Make sure you SAVE the file

    • Click the downloads folder button in the top right corner of your browser (Arrow pointing down)

    • Look for the file: csregistry.jnlp

    • Click the Magnifying Glass to the right of "csregistry.jnlp"

    • This opens another window (the Finder)

    • [Control + Click] on the file "csregistry.jnlp" (right click)

    • Click Open

    • Click OK
