Could we have the ability to mass email those sitting in our application area. As we do not except them till they are members of the club.

Basically through out the off season we have had a number applications and as they have come in i have emailed them about details of how to join the club and when the new season will start.

Now I wish to send out a reminder to all of them that the new season will be starting soon and that training has now begun.

I have had more ideas around applications.

Temporary and/or limited membership - Would allow new members to get a feel of the club before the pay a full membership. The Temporary membership could be for thirty days then once we have had confirmation they have paid we can make it a full membership.

Currently we sit on applications until they have paid up. We email them the details of training and membership prices among other helpful information.

However it seems a shame they can not benefit from viewing the members areas and forum.

We have discussed this but taken the view that due to privacy issues relating to email use it would be difficult for clubs to keep emailing applicants without their permission

Yes we did discuss but have taken a short term view that as you can add a member and then delete fairly simply we would leave this on the back burner and concentrate our efforts on other aspects of development
