We've just signed up for GoCardLess and switched on the financial management piece. Can you clarify how the subscriptions work for families?
We have a structure where first adult pays £92 per year, additional adults £11, additional children £5 each. So a family of 4 would pay £113 per year.
Is there a way where one adult can pay all of the subscriptions for the family electronically or does each member need a separate financial account set up to point at GoCardLess? So 4 setups?
I looked at the Rebate Groups and can see how that would post the rebate to the head of the group, but would it post the total payment for everyone in that group to the head?

As you rightly have noted the rebate groups operate to allow you to add any discounts to the head member account and to ensure that the head member pays for all the members in the group

So only the head member needs to link to GoCardless

You will need to set up all variables of groups e.g. couple, family one child, family two children etc

Let us know if you need further clarification

just to add to Sarah's comment above. We use GoCardLess and have lots of different permutations for families. Works well.

You can set the rebate/discount to be £0.0001 effectively zero.

Just be aware that the Rebate Group list in the order you create. We forgot a few and added them later and they list at the bottom, i.e.

Family (1 Adult, 1 Child)
Family (1 Adult, 2 Children)
Family (1 Adult, 3 Children)
Family (1 Adult, 4 Children)
Family (2 Adults, 0 Children)
Family (2 Adults, 1 Child)
etc etc

Once set up it does work very well with GoCardLess and the information shown in Club Buzz is clear on the Primary Account holder!

So well worth doing!
