Change Registration Date

We have tried to reset the registration date to 20th July but no emails have been sent. Most of the records show 25th August as 'registered until'.  How can we bring this forward so that all members re-register earlier (as soon as possible now) please?

Changing the registration date will affect new joiners but those who are registered until August will not receive renewal reminders until they are due to renew. The change of renewal date will then mean they will renew until 20 July next year and then if you keep the date the same all members will then be working to the same registered to date. You cannot bring forward a registered to date

I would like to make our registration date a bit later, rather than earlier. It's currently 15th January so the first renewal email went out to members 4 weeks earlier on 18th December last year. Not a good time to get their attention :-(
If I change it to 29th January, I presume the first renewal email will go out on 1st January. Will any member who re-registers immediately on 1st January be renewed until 29th January 2020, please?

Changing the dates will not have the effect I think you desire this year, it would take a full cycle to take effect.

Current members are registered to a specific date, when that date is up they will be sent a renewal reminder....changing the date of registration due this year will not affect the date that the first email will be sent.. however changing the date will mean that when they are due for renewal the following year the emails will be sent later
