Changing the junior age:

Go to membership categories
Click "change defaults"
Change age for juniors

Assigning non playing members to a club:

Edit member
Click on sport (or edit sport)
Click on non playing member within the sport tab

Hi Yvonne - can you just tell me which club you are from so I can check your subscription type - if you prefer you can email me at support@clubbuzz.co.uk

Hi Sarah,

I'm looking to do the same at Brentwood Cricket Club (Silver Membership) but can't locate membership categories either. Appreciate your guidance.

Thanks,

In silver and bronze clubs the junior age defaults to under 18. In silver plus and gold you can set the age as per the instructions above as this can affect membership fees

Current Club stats via the Dashboard are not factually correct - Junior numbers are overstated compared to Adult members - because Club cannot change junior age default under Silver tier membership.

'Juniors' are overstated by virtue of the fact that at seventeen Colts depart the junior section of the Club and become Junior Playing Members of the main cricket club. Unless Club leaves Junior Playing Members' ages blank (a bit of a fudge), the only current solution is to upgrade to Silver tier plus, which somewhat undermines the validity and credibility of the Club stats reporting under the Club's current membership tier.

You can utilise the reports and filter by age to get a true picture of the membership numbers in your particular instance. I will discuss setting junior age in silver and bronze clubs at our next development meeting and would be interested to hear from other clubs on this point too

Fantastic - thanks Sarah. Suspect quite a few cricket clubs transition their Colts' membership to the main club from U17 onwards.
