Change your match selection status

When selected for a match you will receive an email (or text if your club have opted for SMS). You will have the option to select one of three links

Clicking on the link will update your selection status either accepted or declined

However should your circumstances change you can change your status via your member profile.

Login to the club website and go to your profile.
You will see a list of any matches you have been selected for
Click on the red wording of the match you want to change, this will open a new screen.
Click on the dropdown arrow next to your response and you can change this, so in the example below you have changed your response from declined to accepted.

If you are an administrator and a member informs you of their change of circumstance in the first instance ask them to change their profile. If they are unable to do this go back to your selection page and delete them from selection, update the screen and then if applicable re-invite them.

Hi Sarah,

Is it possible for an administrator to update the selection status on behalf of someone else - so for instance if I know a player is away but has confirmed that they will be able to play that day - can i update their status to accepted?

thanks - if there was a way to do this direct in the 'match selection' screens this would be better. Navigating back to the individual member may not be possible for people who are just managing selections etc, like captains, but also its impractical. a great improvement would be to give captains/managers/selectors full control over their own teams fixture times/notes/selections direct from the match selection areas - would save a lot of back and forth.

Would also be great to remove a player from the match day squad (more than just unticking them) so that they aren't continually shown as 'maybe' on availability.... maybe 'maybe' should only show if they are actually ticked in a given squad selection

Make sense?

Is it possible for this ability to be given to match selectors as well as admins? The most appropriate role for captains seems to be match selector as try don't need all the other admin rights and they are most likely to know who is unavailable from their team and hasn't updated the website
