The football club has 22 teams and over 300 members.

Would it be possible to allow the team manager to view their allocated players details without allowing the managers to view other teams details?

with data protection we want managers to view their players / team details such as address / tel but not other teams details.

so a super user can allocate the player to the team.
the allocated manager can view that player. they can download the PDF so that they can keep a paper record of contact details and medical questionnaire with them on match days?

Simon, we are looking into the implications of allowing clubs to grant designated team managers the same access as a sport administrator/scheduler and communicator but solely for their own team, this is in early consideration but may address your requirement - would you want them to have all those rights or solely as you have stated to view personal details (also interested in feedback from other clubs on this)

Hi Sarah.
I know you said it's in its early consideration.
Do you have an idea when this maybe live?
Would it be in time for next seasons registrations?

Would hope to have this in place for next season (assuming sport is winter sport!)

Thanks.

Ideally we would like for an admin/super user to allocate the "member/player" to the team then the manager and or captain can view the details and print off their application form / PDF.

If they had all the rights mentioned above that would be fine as the manager of the team they can have full access. All Id like is for them to manage their "own" team and not others which the current format allows.

As part of our review of Data Protection we are looking at adding a new role of "Team Manager", ensuring that a team manager can only see data for their own team members. Please help us to help you. What roles/actions would you like a team manager to be able to complete within the system. For example selection, communication, match reports????? Please take a look at our Facebook post and comment and share so we can take all views into account when looking at this early in 2018 https://www.facebook.com/goClubBuzz/photos/a.116605371708884.6945.108767075826047/1527555163947224/?...

Definitely in support and have already posted separately on this. My main interest would just be to prevent a team manager from seeing the personal details of people outside that particular team.  Jane Old Loughts

Hi would say that a manager needs to be able to manage match selections.and administer the events schedule, and create after-event reports for his team only, The selector and scheduler role does this but shows all members and teams?
