Change "Omissions" to "Unavailability" or something a bit more meaningful?

It would be so much easier for members to be able to set their availability on the fixtures list for each match rather than have to create calendar omissions.

Another thought to throw into the mix: our players often find they can make a morning game, but not an afternoon one, or vice versa. For this situation, the 'not available for whole day' scenario does not fit. We commonly send out emails giving the times for all our bottom 3 ladies games and asking which games the players would be available for.

That's why it's much better to accept or decline a particular game. Would be much quicker and the playrt is less likely to make an error also.

I have had several complaints from members as they did not know what omissions meant. Changing it to availability or option to reword it as we like would be good
