Password changes - after 45 logins

Have just read the information on GPDR as follows:
After a password has been used 45 times, a message will be displayed “For security reasons you need to change your password, do you want to do it now?”
For normal playing members, this seems to be fine because it won’t come around that often, but for website admin and captains using for selection, this could mean they are changing their password very regularly, and also having to provide the extra security information on an even more frequent basis. This makes it likely that passwords changed so often would be forgotten.

Had you considered a period of time for password changes, i.e. say every three months, rather than the number?

We looked at a number of solutions, we felt that security was more essential for those accessing the system to manage the club e.g. treasurer, captains etc and as such went for the total number of uses as opposed to a period of time.  Logging in once a day would mean a password change every 6 weeks, looking at usage statistics we would estimate that in reality password changes would be much less frequent.
