Hi Sarah

One of our members rejected the Data Held Agreement and I received a warning email

The email says "Take the necessary action" - can i reset his account so that next time he logs in he is re-presented with the data held agreement ?

Thanks

Hi Cillian, he can attempt to login again the same notice will be presented to him and he can accept, you don't need to reset anything

It's directed so that you can then advise the member whether they can remain a member of the club if you can't hold their data, or see what their specific concerns are so you can try and address them.  Ultimately club's will have to take a view themselves on whether someone can remain a member if you can not hold their data for club purposes, selection etc..

Hi Sarah

Thanks that makes sense :-)

I checked the reports but cant see one for wether members have accepted the agreement or not - i get an email when someone says no, how do i check if they have said yes?

We have assumed for GDPR that data held before the 25 May is OK it is only new data that requires additional consents (that is our understanding).  However if you need to check, any member who has logged in since the 16th April will have been forced to agree to consent, so by running the member report - member activity you can see all who have not logged in and therefore not agreed to your policies

Hi Sarah

Thanks again

I checked the member activity report as suggested for this member who rejected the data held agreement. Its member number 00046352 and their last activity was 22/04/2018 10:01

Are you saying that this member has not accepted the agreement?

I that is correct the situation is that I have a warning email saying they had not accepted, but no communications that they had accepted it subsequently - can you see how confusing that is?

We have added a new column to the member activity report showing whether the member has accepted the data held agreement or not
