GoCardless is a collection service from Bank accounts that can be used as a one off payment or a DD and in both cases the fees are the same.

Stripe is currently 1.9% +25p per transaction and PayPal 3.4% +20p (rates current as June 2019)

Hi Sarah, please can you confirm that the 1.4% fee rate advertised on Clubbuzz Website homepage is no longer correct based on current prices you've given below or am I missing something?

Sarah, Another quick question, if a member chooses to pay by one off payment option via debit / credit card who determines which service is used such as stripe or PayPal as fees are greater on one that the other. Thanks

Graeme - no the fees are correct on the website, they cover all collections by GoCardless.  You can just add GoCardless as you payment gateway.  You then have the option to add Stripe or PayPal, the choice is up to you and that's how you manage it.  I would suggest you just start with GoCardless

I'm told by other clubs who are using Clubbuzz that if different sections of a club eg men's, women's, juniors are collecting fees via this means, it tries to collect fees at the same level each week across all 3 sections. Where they have differences they are manually adjusting them each week. as each section has different match fee rates.
the same applies to us and before we decide to go with Clubbuzz we wondered if there was means to deal with this at initial set up?
Otherwise we were thinking could you have three separate logins (one for each section) but under one licence Fee?

Hi Graeme – unless I'm mistaken I'm pretty sure you can set up different fees for different members (e.g. £10 per match for adult members, and £5 per match for junior members).

I think if you go to 'Financial Accounting', 'Club accounts', then 'Manage play and pay accounts' you should be able to set prices for each membership category.
