Timepost is loosing my time posts to Freshbooks

Since the last update to 2.6.3 I have noticed that Timepost is loosing some of my posts to Freshbooks. This is not acceptable as we bill by the hour this is actually loosing us money.

It seems totally random. I make an entry, get the post notification sound & move on. Later when I go back and check on Freshbooks website I have noticed that not all of my posts have been entered.

Any Ideas?

Using a Mac, OSX 10.5.6, TimePost 2.6.3.

I am using 2.6.4 now & I just got this problem the other day. Also instead of getting a play button, sometimes it always shows a pause button (although it still works to start the timer).

Hello,
Is there anybody there? This is a rather important issue, as it could possible loose many billable hours.

Still being ignored here. Both by this web site and email support.

Hey Tom, you're not the only one watching this for some hope that they are around. I had an email dialogue going that simply dropped off, unanswered.. was really hoping they'd fix the problems with this otherwise great software.

There have been cases where the start / end dates of time entries have been incorrect, leading some people to believe the entries weren't posted. We're aware of this issue, and are implementing a new time session system that will track multiple start/end dates for a timer.

We're also working on an integrated error reporting system, which will allow you to report connection failures. This will help us respond to problems faster, and give us useful information about what caused it.

Wow, over a month to finally acknowledge that there is a problem, but no real answer. Nice.

I'd rather have my money back.

I've been experiencing the same thing for the last several weeks on both OS X 10.5.6 and 10.5.7 with TimePost 2.6.4.

Can I have my money back?

It has been almost 4 months now & no answer to this problem. I can not use the program reliably without fear of loosing a time entry which could cost me hundreds of dollars if I loose one, let alone multiple entries. The support from this company has been pretty lacking as well.

In my case, the issue of dropping entries to Freshbooks seems to happen only if I have "reused" a timer. If I use a timer, post it to Freshbooks (which zeros the time and clears the description) and then start timing again, I sometimes lose entries.

However, when I delete the timer right after posting to Freshbooks and create a new one the next time I need it, I have not had any issues. I've been working this way for 2 weeks and have not lost one time entry post to Freshbooks (and I've checked the site every time I've posted entries from TimePost to make sure).

Your mileage may vary, but those are the symptoms for me. Maybe that'll help someone be able to continue using the software until the developer(s) resurface(s).

Been using Timepost for a long time and have just started noticing this problem when I updated to Snow Leopard (Timepost is 2.6.4). I'm going to quit using it for now until I hear about something here or find something new.

I hate it when people start blogs on their website and/or communities and then never use them... Hopefully this gets fixed soon and questions start getting answered here a bit better.

Was about to buy this program... but now gonna hold off. Thank god for vigilant users submitting their bugs otherwise I would've bought this and gotten no support.

Maybe people get busy, but I feel that if you are gonna charge $39 for an app, it better get supported. If not, either pull it off the net or go open source and let people that are willing to contribute and make it better.

I know, so easy to comment when you're not the one that has to work on the issue. But hey, it seems easy for timepost to ignore the fact that everyone is paying the $39 for the software.

Was interested... not anymore... probably won't revisit this again. On to the next.

Over 1 year. Nothing. This support sucks.
