Comcast converter box unplugged and plugged back in, not working.

I unplugged my Comcast converter box by accident, and when I plugged it back in, the green light won't stop blinking, and I'm not getting my channels. All it says is 'One Moment Please. Your service has been temporarily interrupted. It should be restored momentarily.' it's been saying that for two days now. I don't know what to do, and I lost the instructions/set up manual for it.

We can send a signal to your converter to try to reset it. If this was already done, you may have to go to the local office and exchange it for a new one.

Please feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

you probably already solved this, but in case others have this problem. I unplugged my tv and when I plugged it back in it wasn't working right with the DTV. My solution was to unplug the DTV box and plug it back in. They were instantly synced after that.

At least your box works. My box does nothing. I've contacted comcast customer support (oxymoron) to no avail. I've filed a complaint with the FCC.

I've been on the phone with comcast for 3 hours with the same problem. I've currently been on hold for 45 minutes. Time to switch to U-verse!

I had the same problem with one of 2 new boxes. I sent an email to We_Can_Help@cable.comcast.com. a rep. from Comcast called me within hours and a tech was at my house the next day. He switched out the bad box and had me up and running in no time at no cost to me. Then the rep. (Judy Davis) called me the next day to see if my problem was fixed to my satisfaction and is sending me some OnDemand coupons. I was pleased and surprised.

I have 2 of those stupid little boxes...I dont get 1/2 the channels I should and if it rains . forget it all channels and my internet is gone as well , those little boxes suck ! and comcast sucks worse , from 2-42 I get about 10 stations...some days they may come in ,and if I change the station to another and go back , they go away.
